I’ve met Mr. Balland as a youth and he has always been my first phone call when I needing help, whether it was traffic or criminal. I get doubt about his knowledge even this lawyer is too old and has funny dye hair and has no experience in penal cases he only can fix minor transit tickets for sure take me a lot of time and lose hours go and by to his opulent office in Clarendon even he said that is good in immigration cases, but ...I found that he was involved in some strange scam immigration cases, found that he has a really bad reputation in Arlington, found he was in jail and many other embarrassment situations, definitely I do not hire this lawyer again... beware

I had a reckless driving charge (which is a criminal charge and worth 6 points off your license, not to mention possible suspension) in Fairfax County. Mr. Balland got the charge reduced to failure to pay full attention and time. County rather than state code, small fine, no points. Literally the bes...t possible outcome. Yeah, he can come off as being a little brusque, but who cares as long you get the result you want? He will answer questions as long as you take the time to ask them. The bottom line: Mr. Balland gets the job done. He is a true professional, and he knows what he's doing. Worth every penny. Would recommend and hire him again.
