She served as a certified Guardian Ad Litem in Prince William County, Virginia, for over a decade, and her dedication to children's welfare earned her the 2016 Prince William County Bar Association Guardian Ad Litem of the Year award. Additionally, she is a current member of the Prince William County Bar Association and has previously affiliated with several other legal organizations to include the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, the American Bar Association, and Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
