Billy Ring Hicks

I was found guilty in district court of DUI and received 30 days in prison (very harsh for a first offence), with a paid lawyer. There was even a male nurse from the hospital where I was to get blood tested for alcohol, who showed up in court and said that I called him a slur and reeked of alcohol. I... received a suspended licence for two years and had to install that device in my car and could get a provisional licence only after a full year. I appealed and hired Mr. Hicks and he was ready for battle and predicted a win to the prosecutor. They caved and offered a reduced charge of reckless driving. Mind you, I had already had one that was reduced on my record that they knew about. You don't typically ever get two of those, especially when you lost severely in lower court. Hicks is the real deal and got a miracle for me: no device, no DUI on record, only six months provisional licence and ASAP. Unbelievable! He even refunded a lot of money since it didn't go to trial. Clearly the best of the best.

Had to ask Mr.Hicks to take my DWI case 4-5 days prior to the trial. My previous lawyer used up all 3 continuous for no reason and I was deeply in trouble. However, Mr.Hicks took on my case and DISMISSED both my dwi and refusal. I was in a way lucky because the police video network system was malfunc...tioning because of the network manager's retirement. But I would say if Mr.Hicks didn't speak up about the video issues, they would have went on to the next trial which would've been a possibly lose. Because he spoke very intellectually to the judge, he wrote a dismiss note unless police get the video before the next court date. I am just glad that I decided to replace my lawyer EVEN if it was 5 days before the court. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

Bill hicks is an outstanding lawyer! i strongly recommend him! i have used his services twice now and he surpassed my expectations! my first ticket was a reckless and he got it reduced not only to speeding but to a 15 over! that is unheard of, in fairfax county that is impossible! my second ticket wa...s disregarding a light and he got it reduced to failure to pay full time attention which has no points! he was absolutely unbelievable! i give him 10 stars! you will not find a better lawyer in all of Virginia!

I was facing serious time and Mr. Hicks got my charges dropped to misdemeanors. I didn't have to spend one day in jail. All my other cases for driving on suspended were dismissed in trial or nolo processed. He's what I would like to call a bull dog. He knows his stuff and his primary purpos...e is to set us free.
