Long-time, trusted, expert advisor
I have worked with Bob in each of the positions I've held since 1993. I cannot imagine doing my job without him at my side. He has advised me when I've held junior as well as senior roles, and has been right next to me with my Board as well as at the litigation table. He is adept at advising all levels of an organization, from a junior Human Resources professional all the way up to the Chairman of the Board. He has assisted me in literally every area of employment law/litigation, including but not limited to: structuring and implementing significant workforce reductions (via both voluntary retirement incentives and layoffs); defending my company in wage and hour audits (no fines resulted); serving as outside counsel in numerous high-profile employment litigation matters; conducting a massive compliance analysis with regard to the status of workers given applicable (and varying) state regulation of the business and implementing necessary changes; drafting and reviewing HR policy manuals; advising on complex employment law issues, etc. I have never had a more trusted advisor, and recommend Bob with the highest confidence.

I engaged Bob to handle a sensitive employment matter on my behalf. His representation reflected wisdom and skill. He was aggressive when necessary yet carefully persuasive in general. I am confident the highly-satisfactory outcome of my matter resulted from Bob's wise judgment, abundant relevant expertise, and his talent for getting tough when necessary. The fees on this matter were most reasonable and a small fraction of his rate when a partner of a major international firm.

Really the Best!
Bob has helped me prepare various employment-related legal documents, from employee handbooks to severance agreements and has provided excellent advice. As a result we have enjoyed multiple years of conflict free employee relations. His counsel has always been sound and takes into consideration upcoming or pending case law and legislation. His viewpoint includes the implications of various actions on the company and its employees. Lots of attorneys can tell you what the law says; it takes an insightful and experienced attorney with an "insider's perspective" to outline the impact of various approaches and possible mitigating tactics. Bob's a strategic business partner for any busy HR executive and I recommend him highly.
