To sum up in 1 word - SUPERB! I hired Tashina after consulting with her about my child support modification case. Bottom line, I won my case due to her ability to retain all information (to include minute details), organization, and sticking to the salient points in court. She was a powerhouse in tr...ial! She did not waste time, she was direct and I really appreciated that as I've experienced some lawyers who dragged on to raise my bill. She and her team are efficient and I absolutely recommend her!!

I am very pleased to write this review for Ms. Harris because she was quite simply awesome in handling two very important issues for me. The first case involved a creditor with whom I had a dispute. They filed a Civil Claims case against me for credit card payments which totaled approx. $14,000.00.... If I had ignored them or attempted to represent myself and lost, they could have received a judgement against me which would be filed with the credit bureaus and garnish my wages. They refused to work out an agreeable solution; so, while not the most economical option, I decided to find legal representation. I contacted several law offices and spoke with a few attorneys, but my initial did not move me to work with them. Then, Tashina Harris returned my call and I immediately liked her personality and approach. She was very pleasant, personable, understanding and, most importantly, she was very honest regarding the expectation, the cost and her experience. The real selling point was the personal connection she made with me over the phone. I really liked her. I thought it over, called her back and ask if she would take my case and she did. During our first meeting, I was not only impressed with her warm and personable nature, but also her patience and thorough examination of the information and explanation of the process and expectations. She also brought in a more experienced colleague to review my information which showed me that she had my best interest at heart. All of these efforts, sealed the deal and I happily paid the retainer fee and left her office feeling relieved that my case was in excellent hands. She immediately got to work and kept me informed via phone and/or email demonstrating her competence, efficiency and responsiveness. Initially, I expected to pay at least $8000.00 of the total $14,000.00, but, as a result of Ms. Harris' expertise and negotiations, I ended up paying only $3000.00. She had one of the cases completely dismissed. This one issue alone earned her all of the EXCELLENT! ratings because of the money she saved me. Then, I encountered another issue where I received a reckless driving ticket for speeding 20 miles beyond the speed limit in Fairfax County. This could have resulted in a charge of a misdemeanor, a hefty fine and potential loss of my driving privilege. Of course, I called Ms. Harris again, and she accepted my case. As before, she was very honest about her experience in the area and offered me the option of working with a more experienced colleague. However, my first experience with her was lasting and because of it I wanted her to handle this case. Again, she provided excellent counseling and demonstrated all of the qualities that produced the excellent results the first time she represented me. The final result was a reduced charge to a speeding ticket with only a loss of a couple of points from my license. This is a minor blemish to my very good driving record considering the alternatives. Aside from the excellent legal results, working with an attorney of Ms. Harris' caliber allowed me to release a great deal of emotional distress and focus on my daily responsibilities without worrying about these issues. For this, I am truly grateful to her. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a top quality attorney who puts their interest above all else.
