I had a very bad experience with Mr. Merchant he is not dependable or responsible. He literally went MIA and I have tried months to get in contact with him for an explanation as to what happened and why he went missing because even his staff couldn't locate him. During these last 5 months our case wa...s left unattended when he could have at least reached out to let us know he will no longer be able to represent us, that would have been the professional thing to do that way the months lost we could have looked for a different attorney and prepare and transfer our case but he chose to simply do nothing and say nothing to us and till this day NEVER has he reached out to me saying he will no longer represent us. Maybe this will get his attention and he can finally give me an explanation because leaving us like that was completely wrong and unprofessional. I am dealing with so much stress and anxiety with my husbands immigration case to have this attorney play with my emotions and my family. I have left so many messages to this practice MERCHANT LAW and ALAVI LAW where he was based out of and no one knew what happened or what was going on. I have sent multiple emails , phone calls and no answer or call back. I sometimes CCd the other attorney (ALAVI LAW) who was trying to help us figure out what happened with Mr. Merchant and TWICE NOW Mr. Merchant replied back not knowing he replied back to me and I have sent him an email right away asking what is going on and nothing! NO REPLY BACK! This situation has been more than frustrating 5 months have gone by since the last time I spoke to him. Attorneys should be helpful and you should feel that your attorney will be there to support, guide and help you and your family through these hard times. NO ONE can give me an explanation from his own practice MERCHANT LAW and ALAVI LAW all I got was we dont know what is going on and that he was "sick". I hope whoever is seeking an immigration attorney finds a great one but I can assure you Mr. Merchant is NOT IT!
