I was recently presented with a complicated Child support modification problem that potentially involved three states due to parent moves from the original state order. This past year + has been the most difficult of my life. From the first meeting, Ann assured me that my case would be resolved and gave me the advice to protect myself financially and what items to document for the possibility of a divorce proceeding being filed. Ann’s professional guidance and advice was always in my best interests when I thought of letti...ng my ego take over and ask about just skipping the mediation process and taking my case to court she explained the consequences of that decision and why she felt that was not in my best interest but always left the decision on how to proceed up to me. Ann was always prepared even when dealing with numerous delays in receiving documents and not receiving first settlement offer at 5 PM on Friday with Mediation at 10 am Monday I always felt that we were prepared. The settlement terms are virtually identical to the terms Ann discussed at our first meeting by saying if you can get close to these terms sign before they change their mind. I am not sure I could have received a better settlement but know it could have been much worse.
