Trustful, smart and well prepared Lawyer for my Divorce and Immigration case.

I married a Navy guy but we decided to get the divorce. I contacted Mrs. Mehnaz Ishrat last year for that matter. The things were complicated for me, because the divorce was filed in Virginia and I Lived in Massachusetts, but via phone and emails we communicated and work in my cases . Under those cir...cumstances I was terrified and frustrated, I trusted her and she was really helpful. Mrs. Mehnaz was the only lawyer in Alexandria, VA who is licensed not just in Divorce but Immigration matter as well, fully prepared and trustful. She handle both of my cases and in both of them she was very successful. I got my divorce in peace and with the enough support to sent my documents to Immigration. I recently got informed that I will be getting my US Permanent resident card, which I really thank to her. My cases were not easy, I honestly think that nobody else could had helped me the way she did. She understood my situation and showed me my rights and defended me. Thanks to her wonderful work, I am really grateful.

Great Attorney

Mehnaz helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. she were very caring and never once did I feel judged by my circumstances. Her staff was very knowledgeable and kind.I would not hesitate to go back to her office in the future should the need arise. What a relief it was to have the...m on my side helping me every step of the way. Couldn't have been any easier to get the fresh start. Thanks to the russell ray at Offices who filed my Chapter 7. I will certainly recommend to my friends and family that may need the same help I did.

WORST Immigration Attorney I've seen

I am a DACA recipient who got married to a US citizen. I came into the US illegally (which makes green card application difficult) and this is why I sought the help of an attorney. I consulted with Mehnaz and she gave me the worst legal advice. She advised me not to use advance parole to leave and co...me back to the US because I would not be able to get back in. She mentioned that if I did this, the 10 year bar will be activated and I will not be able to get back into the US until after 10 years. On top of this she mentioned that she may be able to help but it will be a minimum of $6,000 in fees and this did not guarantee that I will be able to stay in US. After her consultation, I left disheartend and very upset. I then sought out of the help of two other lawyers who disputed everything that she had to say and who mentioned that she gave me very bad legal advice and she should not be able to claim to be a lawyer who specializes in immigration as she does not know immigration law!! They advised me to use advance parole and I DID. The 10 year bar was not activated because under the advance parole statues- it does not activate this bar (doesn't count as you having left US, but it does count as you having legal entry once you come back. I got back into the US with advance parole and this gave me the legal entry I needed to apply for my green card. I since have applied for my green card and have been approved. If you are seeking legal advice, I advice you to stay away from this attorney as she gave me TERRIBLE advice that if I would have followed, could have potentially ruined my life. If you want thorough and accurate legal advice— stay away from Mehnaz. I hope that this helps those out there who are in the same boat as I was. Please look at the reviews, but also be very careful to examine the bad ones.
