I went through a very messy divorce/custody battle. Ms Khan came into the case far along into the custody as My ex had made things very complicated by moving out of state and I was at a loss at what to do. Ms Khan handled the case in an honest way, never using any underhanded tactics, everything do...ne was by the book, even making sure anything filed was given to a private process server in the other state to make sure there was no question my ex was properly served. Ms Khan did everything she possibly could and more for my family and myself and we will always be grateful for her services. Ms Khan should be the first name you think of when it comes to family law in Northern VA as she will do everything she can to assist, and she will always make sure you are up to date on anything and everything that is happening. I will preface my review by acknowledging its’ length. However, it is 100% true and accurate. Before I called Mehnaz Khan’s office, I did exactly what you are doing now - evaluating her reviews. I usually reserve my opinions only for a spectacularly great or horrible business or individual. For Ms. K...han and her team, I can emphatically say that it is the first reason that I am writing this review. After explaining the situation as I viewed it, Ms. Khan asked the necessary questions and immediately began to formulate her plan. From the beginning, Mehnaz always kept me abreast of what was occurring with the divorce proceedings. More importantly, she ensured that I completely understood what was going on. These actions provided emotional succor that I cannot explain with words. Finally, Mehnaz is a consummate professional. Her calm, unpretentious demeanor hides her tenacity and determination. Ms. Khan’s arguments convinced the judge to rule in our favor. This ruling created a new precedent for subsequent decisions with disputes involving property & settlement agreements. Having Ms. Khan in my corner was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.
