The best attorney, easy to work with.

He listened to my concerns and addressed them very professionally, he tailored a solution that suits my situation and it paid off by working out in my best interest. He is a very straightforward lawyer, who responds in a timely manner very clearly. He made my case go as smooth as possible, it was lik...e a breeze. I highly recommend hiring Ryan not only because he is brilliant but he is also an honest man, which is something rare to find in a lawyer nowadays. Even if you're just looking for a consultation, he is the man!!!

Excellent Job on Short Notice

I live in North Carolina. I had a child custody trial set near the end of July. I thought at first I could handle the matter between my ex on my own and soon came to realize that was a terrible idea. I need representation and fast as my child custody trial date was only a few weeks out. I reached out... to several attorneys. I probably talked with 8-10 attorneys and/or paralegals. Ryan and his paralegal, Sherry, stood out above the rest. So I hired them to represent me on my case. As a father, who lived out of state, I was concerned I wasn't going to get a fair "shake" when I had my day in court. I was losing sleep, growing more gray hairs, and losing hair for months leading up to this trial. I was sure I was going to get ran through the coals. I didn't. The outcome was extremely favorable and much better than I could have ever anticipated. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I am glad I chose Ryan to represent me! Other single fathers out there looking for a great attorney (or really anyone for that matter) just stop now and give Ryan's office a call. Thank me later.

Did his job in a professional manner

I hired Ryan for my divorce. He explained the process very clearly and followed through on what he said he would do in a timely manner. His assistant was a great help. I think Ryan did an excellent job.

rude and un-considerate

I hired Mr. Mattson to handle my case, he did 50% satisfactory job because he helped me win the case on court, but he did a poor job for the rest 50%, and also he rudely aborted our relationship and I had to search for another lawyer. In my opinion, a lawyer is a good lawyer if he/she can help clien...t win both on the court and on managing legal expenses to meet client's budget, after all, in front of mountain-high legal bill, what's the sense of winning on court? In addition, a good lawyer client relationship is based on mutual-understanding of each other's concern, not that client has to follow the order of lawyer, especially because client is a customer, not a soldier, and lawyer is a service provider, not a military general. From that perspective, Mr. Mattson does not meet the standard of a good lawyer, yes, he helped me win one of my cases in divorce process, but he aborted and insisted to abort just because I asked for a small reduction on legal bill, and that's not because I do not want to pay his service, it's because his legal bill exceeded my budget too much and demanded full payment in too short time frame. A lawyer needs to know that winning in court is just 50% of ask from client, the equally important ask is to help client manage legal expense within budget.

I Highly Recommend Ryan Mattson...

I hired Ryan Mattson to handle important child support issues for me, and he did so with a substantive and nuanced knowledge of the law. I asked for specific issues to be addressed in my case, and Ryan was able to have my concerns and legal interests protected in a written agreement that was negotiat...ed with my ex-wife's attorney and the Division of Child Support Enforcement. Ryan proved to be a skilled and substantive negotiator who kept me updated and informed during the entire negotiating process. I received quality legal services and representation at a fair and transparent price. I would recommend Ryan Mattson to anyone looking to hire an attorney to represent their legal rights and interests in all areas of Family Law -- including child support. I couldn't be any happier with the Legal Counsel and ancillary services that Ryan and his Law Firm provided to me.
