Patent law first intrigued me while working on a boat in the Caribbean on crystal clear, blue waters. I was a photographer with an assignment to help with a pending patent infringement lawsuit by taking pictures of fishing lines with various color treatments to determine the accuracy and enablement of whether fluorescent dyes in fishing lines are activated underwater in fishing lines.
I became a patent lawyer in large measure due to that early project. I have an undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in Chemical Engineering and my law degree from The George Washington University.
I have been a patent examiner, and now my practice involves most aspects of matters that involve a patent, a trademark, a copyright and the asociated business interests around these topics.
I offer an extended consultation to better gauge whether you need help and, if so, just how I can help.
