My story with John starts with a hopeless day in Fairfax county court where I’m expecting the judge and prosecutor to go at me with everything they can. At this point I’m out on bond and missed my first arraignment (honest mistake). At the second arraignment date I was unlucky with the Judge I was de...alt with. Two court rooms had been combined into one and I had no idea how this would affect the mood of the judge or how long it would take for my case to be called. After sitting for almost 2 hours the Judge ends up calling my case and to no surprise denies my request for a court appointed lawyer. FYI, this was not the most friendly judge in the courthouse. So, after getting rejected and realizing I would have to come up with $2500-$4000 for a simple misunderstanding between me and a car rental company I proceeded to walk out and here comes this well dressed white dude. He runs up to me and says “hey, My name is John Pickett I used to work for the fairfax county prosecutors office and I’m a defense attorney. He offers to take my case for $1000 and even offers to let me make payments. In no time he had already worked out two settlement options and changed the focus from a criminal issue to a business settlement and offered me a situation that I could control the outcome. Suffice it to say, this man saved me from possible months of jail and loss of my home, relationship, money and life momentum that I had worked hard too build. Time!!!!!!! That was the resource I was most concerned with and he helped me save exactly that! This review took me a while to put up. A lot longer than it took him to solve my case. JOHN IS THE GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD IN MONOPOLY! Thank you for helping with my case when no one else would. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MAN FOR ANY CASE WITHIN HIS PRACTICE FIELD.
