Edward handled my reckless driving case and becuase of his knowledge of the Fairfax Court System he was able to get my ticket reduced out of the reckless category. I have known Ed Cuccias for over 15 years; he is a great lawyer and good friend. I have had to call on him for his legal services and expertise on two occasions to assist my son after he was stopped and cited for Reckless Driving (Speed in excess of 25 mph over the posted speed limit). Ed met with... us and explained the seriousness of the offense and possible consequences (6 Points off his license, misdemeanor conviction and possible jail time). While a parents’ threats of the consequences for poor driving habits sometimes go unheeded, Ed’s explanation of the seriousness of these charges put the fear of God into my son. I met with an accident on a rainy day. It was very bad and the the car got totaled. I was given a "reckless" ticket. I had to be at the court. Then I found a lawyer who at the last moment said was going on a vacation. So I had to postpone my court date. This time I was on a business trip and came ba...ck 3 days before my court date. Then I asked my friend who, I recalled, got a reckless in fairfax county. He gave me Mr. Cuccias's details and I called him at around 5:00 Pm in the evening. I was given an appointment the next day. I went there and explained the whole scenario. He understood it so well that he mentioned a couple of points which I missed which would prove me not at fault :-). The next day at court I was asked to wait and have something to eat. While I was having my breakfast at the cafeteria Mr. Cuccias found me and explained that the case was amended that I need to "pay fulltime attention" and there were no points on my record. Happy me!! After almost 1 year today I asked for some information regarding my case and he quickly responded. I surely recommend him.
