Christal Alicia Benton

Christal Benton Stone is a Family Law Attorney at Reese Law, P.C. located in Fairfax, Virginia. She is licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia. She concentrates her practice in the area of contested Family Law Litigation, representing clients in matters involving Contested and Uncontested Divorce, Equitable Districution and Property Division, Child Custody and Visitation, Paternity, Protective Orders, and Child and Spousal Support. With her background and training in Psychology, Christal is an effective mediator and listener, choosing to practice by emphasizing effective dispute resolution and collaboration when possible. She has extensive expirience in reaching resolutions in complicated Child Custody matters and by choosing to be an empathetic advocate, she is understanding, responsive, and remains aware of the emotional and financial strain of litigation.

Christal is a Virginia native and resident of Fairfax County. With the exception of moving to Philadelphia for graduate school and training in Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, she has lived in the Commonwealth for most of her life. Prior to passing bar exams in Virginia and the District of Columbia, Christal worked in a Virginia law firm that practiced exclusively in family law, as well as volunteered in non-profit organizations representing victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, and those in need of emergency and final protective orders.

Although an aggressive trial lawyer, Christal is primarily known by her clients and colleagues as a dependable ally, always relatable and confident when needed most. This, coupled with her experience and training allows her to provide strength and understanding in some of the most trying situations in the lives of her clients.
