Disability Retirement Approved

I hired Mr. McGill to represent me with the preparation and submission of my disability retirement package. Mr. McGill is very knowledgeable of the law regarding federal disability retirement and his expertise helped in making the process easier. My disability retirement was approved.

Hands down the Best choice for a FERS Attorney. Mr. McGill is extremely knowledgeable in this subject, he takes the time to answer questions where other attorneys simply pass you on to a legal secretary. Mr. McGill will call you back ASAP usually within the same day or the next at the latest. He answ...ers all emails quickly. Also he is extremely compassionate about each case he handles. I would Highly recommend Mr. McGill to anyone looking for a FERS attorney.

Hire Attorney McGill

Mr. McGill changed my life for the better, forever. I hired him to represent me for the OPM disability retirement application and adjudication process right from the beginning, based on what other federal employees who used him had told me. I was awarded disability retirement, no appeal needed and no... questions asked, only 57 days after my application was submitted by my fed gov agency! ! I was expecting 12-18 months and maybe then an appeal. Mr. McGill offered guidance and review in my application derivation, resulting in a strong case and paperwork I felt comfortable submitting. I went from panic and form info guessing to knowing I submitted a strong case and that my forms were completed properly. He consistently returned my communications within 24 hours, often within an hour, and was always helpful and thorough. My case/medical condition was not particularly clear-cut, so I feel it was the strength of his input, legal cover letter, guidance on what medical records I needed, how to work with my doctors, explanations of process steps and timelines, and resulting quality application that made the entire difference. Now I can rest easy after not working and no income for 4 years in knowing I have secured OPM disability retirement income and health insurance for life. He offered a flat rate commensurate with my difficult financial situation, but I offered to pay him more, commensurate with my greater pay grade. I HIGHLY recommend using Mr. McGill from the very beginning, before you prepare your medical records and application, and for me the value of his service for the money is incalculable. He was honest in his assessment of the winnability of my case, no false pretenses. No-one can guarantee OPM will approve your disability in 57 days, but in using McGill, I believe you maximize your chances of success, and that is well worth the money. Don't mess around with the application game or seek cheaper lawyers like I did initially that led me astray, the system can best you - hire a good attorney (whoever it is) even if you have to borrow money, and I strongly endorse hiring Robert McGill! Btw his rates are comparable to other firms.

The Go-To Lawyer for FERS Cases

There isn’t a licensed attorney with more FERS disability claims experience than Robert McGill. He’s “the guy”. I’m no an easy client, either: My war issues make me downright ornery. Robert handled my captiousness with aplomb. More importantly, he quickly and competently got me a win. The legal profe...ssion is fraught with attorneys who firewall themselves off from their clients. They are hard to reach, and they communicate poorly, and then clients have to contact the state bar. Not so with Robert McGill. He has no gatekeeper receptionists or unknowing answering services. He is very responsive, easy to reach. You will speak with him, not some admin or paralegal or receptionist. He does what he says -- on time. His fee is upfront and very fair. In short, Robert's diligent work promptly won for my family the security we earned and need.

Detailed, diligent, responsive, all around the best!

I hired Mr. McGill to handle my disability retirement. I initially called him for a consult about a year before I actually moved ahead. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I followed his advice and with his help, navigated the through the process with ease (relative term).... I couldn't be happier with the way things worked out. Mr. McGill is awesome, I highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services.
