Best lawyer for Federal Disability Retirement!

To begin with, I should have hired Mr. Robert R. McGill prior to filing for Federal Disability Retirement (FDR) and saved myself a lot of time, effort, and money trying to do it on my own. This is all he does and it shows. After the initial FDR denial and then subsequent denial of reconsideration, I ...was faced with an appeal via the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB). I started looking for attorneys specializing in FDR and found several; however, Mr. McGill was the only one who was consistently recommended, not only by former clients, but also by a few law firms. Being recommended by competitors should tell you something. Upon the initial consultation, he was honest and explained the process going forward with MSPB. He made no guarantees or promises, save one: that he would do his best. He encouraged me to perform due diligence and speak with others before making any decision. After a day or two of doing so (and reading the extensive posts regarding FDR on his website), I hired Mr. McGill to represent me with the FDR MSPB appeal process. He promptly took care of all the necessary paperwork and filings, and kept in contact throughout the process. Every time a filing was made, he called to explain what he was doing and the legal rationale for them. What I really found amazing was that he always responded to my E-mails and calls within 30 minutes or less, sometimes immediately. Also, there were no other personnel or "middle men" to go through - he does it all by himself and he does it very well. When I called, he picked up the phone, not a secretary. It's rare to call an attorney and get direct communication, but that was never the case with Mr. McGill. Admittedly, I was probably not an ideal client, but he always maintained his professionalism and optimism. In the end, OPM reversed their denial mere hours before the MSPB hearing, largely based on Mr. McGill's knowledge of the law and legal precedence establishing that FDR was warranted in my case. In the end, he kept his one promise and he did his best for me. Hiring him was the smartest choice I made throughout this entire process. He has my highest recommendation!

Mr. McGill is the top expert in the field of Federal Disability Retirement Law under FERS.

Mr. McGill, by all accounts, is the top expert in the field of Federal Disability Retirement Law under FERS. His fee covers all 3 Stages of the process, from start to finish, wherever it goes. From the outset, he explains that OPM doesn’t automatically approve a case, no matter how strong the medic...al evidence, and therefore, he charges a fee which will cover all of the stages, as he says, because he “never abandons his clients, but sees the process all the way through.” That is what happened in my case, and we had to go all the way to the MSPB, where he was able to persuade the OPM representative at the 3rd Stage that they did not have a chance before the Administrative Judge at the MSPB, and had them reverse the Reconsideration denial and grant me the Disability Retirement. He is true to his word – he never abandoned me, and fought at every stage of the process. That is why he is considered the top expert in the field of Federal Disability Retirement Law under FERS.

Federal Employee, USDA

Mr. McGill is a silent threat. When I retained him, he worked with on a payment plan. He started to review my case and felt very strongly about it. He assured me he would be with me through Appeal if necessary with MSPB. He got a favorable decision for within 12 months. I most certainly would refer h...im and most definitely will be using him in the future if needed.

PAINLESS!

Phenomenal outcome! I was approved for a medical retirement from the Dept of Veteran Affairs thanks to Mr. McGill's counsel. He was professional, expedient, competent and consistently followed up with me. I appreciate him more than I can express. Look no further, he's your guy.

Highly Recommend!

If you are looking to secure disability retirement through OPM, I highly recommend Mr. McGill. Do not try and navigate the system alone. He is extremely knowledgable, quickly responded to my many questions and guided me through the entire process. I could not have been successful without him. I am of...ficially retired and could not thank Mr. McGill enough for his efforts on my behalf.
