Extremely satisfied with outcome, would recommend.

Robert McGill was an excellent choice for my Federal retirement case and I just received notice that it was approved. He has guided me through the process and has been exceptionally helpful throughout the ordeal. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Worth It

I had never hired a lawyer before and was very nervous about hiring one, especially one in another state who I couldn’t meet in person. I found him online and read many reviews before I contacted him. I was not sure I even had a chance to get disability retirement as I had an unusual health situa...tion. Before talking to him, I was basically waiting to be fired because I was not able to return to work and did not know what to do. When I talked to him about my situation, he explained a lot to me and told me he felt I had a good chance of being approved with my doctor’s support. He emphasized the importance of the doctor’s input, so I understood better what I needed to do. I liked the fact that he charged a flat fee upfront. No surprises wondering how much it would cost in the end. Mr. McGill sent me a long list of references. I emailed 5 of them. They all graciously responded. I hired him and found him to be exactly as others described him. He ALWAYS responded to calls and emails usually within an hour or at least within 24 hours. He is very direct and to the point and gets the job done. Due to my medical issues, I sometimes had difficulty understanding instructions or comprehending what I had to do and would get upset and call or email him with my questions and concerns. He always clarified what I needed to do and reassured me he would take care of things. I greatly appreciated his patience and respectfulness of me as a person. He explained up front that the process could take a year or longer. His first update for me from OPM, they were telling him 12-18 months. It took 11 months, and my application was approved on the first round. I am so thankful I hired Mr. McGill. There is no way I could have handled it on my own. Prior to hiring him, I had already gone through the process with my agency for approval to work from home, be put on FMLA, etc. and had an extremely stressful time with that. No matter what documentation I provided, it was never right. They would always come back and say they needed something other than what they asked for in their letters. I knew OPM would be even worse. Save yourself the agony and wasted time and hire Mr. McGill.

Best federal disability lawyer you can hire

Always stayed in communication, expedited my case much faster than I could on my own. Had great knowledge of all federal standard forms, paper work, deadlines and a general road map of the process that a individual filing would not have knowledge of.

Great Federal Disability Attorney with great results !

Mr. Robert R. McGill took my OPM disability case when I realized that I could no longer physically perform my duties as a federal police officer and when I decided to apply for an OPM disability retirement. The process seemed so overwhelming and complicated that I did not want to risk making any tech...nical mistakes with the paperwork or anything that would unintentionally cost me a denial, having then to file appeals that would cost me a much longer and unpleasant wait and unneeded aggravation. I had enough dealing with my own health problems and preferred to have a professional attorney handle the bureaucratic mess that the federal government is. Mr. McGill was very knowledgeable, experienced, quick to respond to all my questions and gave me a great sense of confidence during a very difficult time for me. I was dealing with the reality that I could not longer do the work that I truly loved and enjoyed and that changes were coming to my life. Mr. McGill took me through the process, filed all my OPM paperwork, constantly communicated with OPM and kept me updated. His services include any possible required appeals in your case, all included in the retainer contract. Being a compassionate human being, he also worked a payment plan for me. I would highly recommend his representation to any federal worker seeking an OPM medical retirement. You will be extremely satisfied with how Mr. McGill runs his law firm, always on top of things and always keeping you in the loop ! Thank you, Mr. McGill for the great and professional work that you did for me !!!

Best FDR Attorney Around!

Attorney McGill is the best option out there to navigate the OPM nightmare. He's responsive to all inquiries and always did what he said he would do. I always felt prepared for every step in the process and Attorney McGill was always happy to answer any questions I had.
