Attorney Robert McGill did an excellent job handling my case. I have absolutely no complaints, trying to get disability can be very stressful. But with Robert handling my case my stress was completely gone and that's half the battle if your not under duress while waiting. If I ever had any questions... and for me I had a lot, he always answered them. If he wasn't in the office at the time, he got back to me always with in 24 hours. If your thinking about applying for Postal Disability then Attorney McGill is the one you want. I would never attempt getting it on my own. Unless you don't mind waiting several years to get approved, we all know how the postal service can be. They will drag their feet as long as they can, meanwhile your under stress worrying about maybe losing your house or having your utilities shut off. The postal service could care less about you and your finances or your health. With Attorney McGill he knows how to push your case through. Where if your like me and have no knowledge about the laws you could be sitting and waiting for ever for a decision. It's always best to hire a lawyer in cases like this and as far as I'm concerned Robert is the best. He came highly recommended by a former co-worker of mine. In fact Attorney McGill has gotten postal disability for 3 of my former co-workers. I highly recommend him, you can't go wrong if he is representing you and his fee is well worth it. I've giving Attorney McGill permission to use my name and e-mail address for anyone thinking about hiring him. Please fill free in contacting me via e-mail anytime, if you have any questions. Once again Attorney McGill thank you for everything you did for me.

Attorney McGill epitomizes EXCELLENCE in Federal Disabilty cases!!!!!

He knows the law and he will provide you with the legal advice and successful path you will need to WIN your case. He is honest, forthright, intelligent and will fight for you. I should have hired him from the beginning. Other firms will tell you they will guarantee a win, but drop your case if you d...on't win at the first step (unless of course you pay them more money). Mr. McGill stands with you all the way thru!

Awesome Disability Retirement Lawyer for Federal Employees

I highly recommend Mr. Robert McGill for those federal employees who are condsidering applying for disability retirement. It is money well spent. He will prepare your entire disability package and work with your doctor to obtain needed information to support your application. Mr. McGill specialized i...n these type cases and he is simply awesome. He will do what he can and within his control when necessary to expedite the process. He offers a free initial consultation - give him a call! His knowledge of the federal disability retirement program is the best. He got my case approved! I am very pleased with his service.

TERRIBLE

I paid Mr. McGill $6,000 up front. He drafted a badly written application with many inaccuracies which I had to edit heavily, and then took months to file it. A year later, my case has not even assigned yet at OPM. Worse, on 4 separate issues related to my claim he gave me BAD ADVICE, to my detr...iment. I almost lost health insurance coverage due to his bad advice; he also told me that I could not file simultaneously for early retirement & disability, which I recently discovered is FALSE - and I could have been getting paid all these months. Around 6 months ago I stopped even bothering to contact him. Throughout the process I have had to do my own research & follow-up with OPM. I'm basically representing myself, but I'm out $6000. He's been sick, but that's no excuse for malpractice. He should retire.

I have no idea who this person is. I have never provided "false" advice, and I would encourage this person -- if indeed he or she is a client and not a competitor -- to contact me to discuss whatever complaints there are. Communication is the key to every successful attorney-client relationship. Additionally, I have not been "sick" as alleged, and the fact that this posting is by an anonymous individual is quite suspicious. I am considered, by most in the field, to be the top expert in the field of Federal Disability Retirement, and such unnamed and unconfirmed allegations are unfair, to say the least.

Best Retirement Move I Made

When I was researching applying for a disability retirement there were a lot of lawyers advertising their services in that regard, but Robert is one of the few who don't operate on a contingency fee basis. I was somewhat concerned about, but after checking with 2 contingency fee based attorneys I fo...und that in the end their fee was 2 or 3 times Robert's. Not only that, after speaking to all of them I found Robert the most confident in his ability to achieve a positive outcome. Turns out Robert is well worth his fee. My disability application was approved the first time out. Additionally, I think mine was somewhat more difficult than most as I applied "after I retired". I can't say enough about Robert in regard to his handling my disability retirement application. I would recommend him to friend and family.
