Look No More!!

If you are in search of an attorney for Federal Government Disability look no more and hire Mr. Robert R. McGill. I spoke with a four attorneys about my case prior to Mr. McGill. I really wanted to spend money wisely. The four attorneys I spoke with offered a money back guarantee. When I finally ...contacted Mr. McGill, his attentiveness immediately caught my attention. I asked if he offered a money back guarantee. He said, "No I do not. I am very good at what I do." That may have turned others off; but, for me, the confidence is what I needed. After my consultation, I hired him RIGHT away. In full transparency, Mr. McGill was the most expensive; however, it was worth every penny spent. Mr. McGill went over what I should expect during the process and advised me to be patient because the process could take up to 18 months. Everything I researched said 12-18 months and sometimes longer. I even spoke with a few representative from OPM and they all said be patient, it may be a while. Mr. McGill called me one day. Naturally, I assumed it was to ask for additional information or just provide me with an update on where I was in the process. No, on that day he called to inform me my retirement was approved. I was completely in shock because it happened in just under four months from the time I submitted all the paperwork. Speaking of paperwork, Mr. McGill operates like a well oiled machine. He personally took care of every aspect in ensuring I had everything I needed prior to submission. He initially told my he typically gets back to clients in less than 24 hours; however, every time I contacted him with the expectation for him to get back with me, it was ALWAYS less that 2-4 hours; not 24. Mr. McGill is caring, responsive, informative, and keeps you in the loop every step of the way. Every time I mentioned Mr. McGill's name and something he did to my husband, he would always say, "He's a BAAAD man!" This really meant he is SUPER awesome. I'll end this review the same way I started, if you are in search of an attorney for Federal Government Disability look no more and hire Mr. Robert R. McGill!! You will not be disappointed.

Robert Miller

Robert R McGill is the BEST. I tried to do my own Medical Retirement. I filled out the application sent all the information from my doctors, did everything OPM(Office of Personal Management), asked of me. For 2 years I put up with all the run around OPM threw at me. Trying to deal with management at ...the IRS, the Best Specialist(who couldn't help me with anything) & OPM all at the same time - what a joke! Then a denial letter. I was so physically & emotionally devastated. I was ready to give up. After some research, a prayer and a blessing, I found Robert R McGill. Just his website will inform you he knows what he's doing. I had my consultation, he said I had a case, I filled out the hiring packet, paid the fee, & he took it from there. He answered every question I had, usually within hours. What a great relief. After Robert took my case, I was approved for the medical retirement 10 months after OPM received his letter. My advice, look at his website, you'll realize his knowledge and qualifications. I am so glad I talked to Robert before I just gave up. Best decision I had made in a long time.

A+

The best $5,000 I have spent in my lifetime. No kidding. I tried to file my disability retirement on my own the first go around and it was a nightmare. I filled out all paperwork and submitted everything they asked for. A year and a half into it they stopped responding. Did not answer written request...s for information, phone was either busy or they didn't return messages. I finally got through to someone after calling every single day for at least a month. They said my claim was disapproved and I would receive a formal denial and instructions on how to appeal in the mail. It never showed up. OPM is a hot mess of incompetent chaos. The best thing I ever did was hire Mr. McGill for the second go around. He has channels that he can take advantage of to communicate with OPM that the majority of us don't. He made sure all my paperwork was in order, all my Dr. notes had the proper information, and got things done. While it was still another year and a half before it was settled (let's face it, OPM has two speeds, slow and slower) I have no doubt that my claim would have been kicked out again if not for him. My only regret was not hiring him sooner, then this mess would have been over in a year and a half instead of three years.

Worth It

I had never hired a lawyer before and was very nervous about hiring one, especially one in another state who I couldn’t meet in person. I found him online and read many reviews before I contacted him. I was not sure I even had a chance to get disability retirement as I had an unusual health situa...tion. Before talking to him, I was basically waiting to be fired because I was not able to return to work and did not know what to do. When I talked to him about my situation, he explained a lot to me and told me he felt I had a good chance of being approved with my doctor’s support. He emphasized the importance of the doctor’s input, so I understood better what I needed to do. I liked the fact that he charged a flat fee upfront. No surprises wondering how much it would cost in the end. Mr. McGill sent me a long list of references. I emailed 5 of them. They all graciously responded. I hired him and found him to be exactly as others described him. He ALWAYS responded to calls and emails usually within an hour or at least within 24 hours. He is very direct and to the point and gets the job done. Due to my medical issues, I sometimes had difficulty understanding instructions or comprehending what I had to do and would get upset and call or email him with my questions and concerns. He always clarified what I needed to do and reassured me he would take care of things. I greatly appreciated his patience and respectfulness of me as a person. He explained up front that the process could take a year or longer. His first update for me from OPM, they were telling him 12-18 months. It took 11 months, and my application was approved on the first round. I am so thankful I hired Mr. McGill. There is no way I could have handled it on my own. Prior to hiring him, I had already gone through the process with my agency for approval to work from home, be put on FMLA, etc. and had an extremely stressful time with that. No matter what documentation I provided, it was never right. They would always come back and say they needed something other than what they asked for in their letters. I knew OPM would be even worse. Save yourself the agony and wasted time and hire Mr. McGill.

Wouldn’t have done it without him!

I hired Robert McGill to help me with my medical retirement claim, and I will never regret it. He was open and honest with me throughout the entire process. He really does take care of everything, so you worry about NOTHING. He always returned my calls and emails in less than a few hours, and was alw...ays pleasant to talk to. He has done so many of these cases, that he has SO MUCH knowledge of the frustrations you will run into with your employer, civilian personnel, your providers, OPM, etc. I felt that he was always one step ahead of them all. I honestly cannot say anything negative about him. He warned me about the grueling wait time, and he told me that patience was the most important thing once my claim reached OPM. Wasn’t that the truth!? The wait time was 7 months once they received my file. Be prepared for that! And to hear his voice on the phone saying “Welcome to retirement”....BEST DAY EVER, and worth every penny. Rebecca, RN
