There is a lot at stake with the federal disability retirement process. I wanted to have all my ducks in order and put forth the strongest case possible from the beginning. Robert charges a fee based on your salary up front. It is a leap of faith to do that, so I believe information about how he practices should be available for review. Federal Disability is all he practices. When you fill out the forms, he knows what to write and more importantly what not to write. I k...new that I could not go back to my job and work effectively and I wrote a statement that I believed proved that. I do not recall the details, but he told me that is just telling them you are temporarily disabled and you can go back to work. He did not tell me to lie and I didn't lie. What he did was have the experience to know how to tell the truth that will most likely earn you the disability. The man is a machine. As busy as he is, he always got back to me on the same or next business day when I had any kind of question, no matter how small. After starting the process, I would say that unless you are dying, it would be nearly impossible to win a Federal disability award with the assistance of a lawyer. I had already resigned from my position when I applied for disability.
