Hire him

There is a lot at stake with the federal disability retirement process. I wanted to have all my ducks in order and put forth the strongest case possible from the beginning. McGill got the packet approved on first review. I looked around for the best lawyer possible and hired McGill. I also spoke to ...several of his previous clients which he had helped to get an approval. All of them told me “Hire him”. I also read several articles that he had written. A friend asked me why I hired a lawyer to do a process which is free. Realize this, you are a “know nothing” when it comes to this process. If you fail to address everything that OPM wants addressed and you get a denial, you are at a huge disadvantage bringing in a lawyer, after the fact, to clean up some crayon eating mistakes that you so smartly made in your claim. I hired a lawyer because the outcome of this process was very important to me and McGill was the best I could find. -Very professional and knowledgeable. -Immediately told me the strengths and weaknesses (soberingly so) of the case and what we would do to fortify the weaknesses. -Explained the process and answered every single question that I ever asked to my satisfaction. -Answered the phone when I called or got back to me the same day in a timely manner. -Answered all emails in a timely manner. -I felt he realized that his job is to work for me and he used his knowledge and experience to that end. -He has been in this practice for a long time. -He was a down to earth guy and zero attitude or lawyer narcissist entitlement syndrome with high social intelligence and self awareness. -Genuinely cared about doing the best job possible on my case. I remember being surprised about him asking me what I thought about a letter he wrote for my packet. The guy legitimately has pride in his work. - No bait and switch BS lawyer, he is legit and doesn’t rest on his laurels. -He did his f’ing job and we got the approval. Money well spent.

Mr. McGill was a Godsend

I am so grateful to have discovered Robert McGill to represent my VA disability case, he is a gifted attorney, like no other, who could have helped me through this challenging process. Mr. McGill is extremely hardworking and committed to his clients, he is an expert in his field. He proved to be very... accomplished and efficient in processing and expediting my case with OPM, winning a timely approval on the first round. While I attempted to continue to work during most of my application process, he was always supportive, professional and quickly responsive to my concerns, helping to lessen my stress level during this period of uncertainty. I give him a 5 star rating for excellence in performance and legal skill. He is an exceptional attorney and I would highly recommend his services.

Best of the Best

For anyone out there who is in need of an Attorney when filing OPM disability retirement, Mr. Robert McGill is the person you want to hire. Please believe me, you WILL NOT go wrong with Mr. McGill. Do not look any further, Mr. McGill is the one you want representing you. Mr. McGill focuses specifical...ly on OPM disability retirement; giving him an advantage over any other attorney out there in this area. Mr. McGill knows the in's and the outs of what is required and what is necessary to get you an approval. My disability case was for mental health, a condition that is not easily approved, requiring clear and concise articulation of the condition and the effects it has/had on my position. Without Mr. McGill on my side I would have been lost. My claim was a first-time-go and approved within months of submission. Mr. McGill walked me through every step of the claim process. He was easily accessible anytime I had questions, responding often times within the hour. I don’t know of any other Attorney who makes themselves accessible to their clients as Mr. McGill. Mr. McGill will work with you every single step of the way. He is a no-nonsense Attorney and he will do whatever it is necessary to get you an approval. I know I said it before, but please believe me when I say Mr. McGill is the person you want to hire for your OPM disability retirement case. A true professional dedicated to obtaining OPM disability retirement benefits for those who have worked so hard as civil servants. I am forever indebted to Mr. McGill.

He is the real thing

Robert charges a fee based on your salary up front. It is a leap of faith to do that, so I believe information about how he practices should be available for review. Federal Disability is all he practices. When you fill out the forms, he knows what to write and more importantly what not to write. I k...new that I could not go back to my job and work effectively and I wrote a statement that I believed proved that. I do not recall the details, but he told me that is just telling them you are temporarily disabled and you can go back to work. He did not tell me to lie and I didn't lie. What he did was have the experience to know how to tell the truth that will most likely earn you the disability. The man is a machine. As busy as he is, he always got back to me on the same or next business day when I had any kind of question, no matter how small. After starting the process, I would say that unless you are dying, it would be nearly impossible to win a Federal disability award with the assistance of a lawyer. I had already resigned from my position when I applied for disability. I believed my chances where slim, and writing that check was a real leap of faith, For what Mr. McGill does for you, the fee is extremely reasonable, no nickel and diming, one flat fee up front. Federal disability is all he does. He has the experience. He knows what works and what doesn't. The process is long and anxiety producing, particularly when you have put your money down and you don't know what is going to happen. Every single time I contact Mr. McGill, he got back to me right away. That gave me a feeling of security and was very helpful along the way. If you have a case for Federal Disability, I recommend Mr. McGill wholeheartedly!

Simply the Best!

I spent a lot of time searching for the right representation because applying for disability was a very hard thing to come to terms with. All of Attorney McGill's reviews are so accurate and I am thankful I found him during my search for help. When you read in his reviews that he gets right back to ...you, it is so true, sometimes within minutes. This guy, is the real deal! When you are hurting so bad and you are wondering how to even begin to start the process to apply for disability Attorney McGill is there. He puts your mind at ease, lets you know if he thinks your case is winnable and then backs it up with the law. Once my case hit OPM it took 40 days to be decided, on the initial try it was approved. I am beyond grateful I had Attorney McGill in my corner. The best advice I can give someone that is thinking about applying for disability is to reach out to Mr. McGill, you will not be sorry you did. A God send!
