HIRE THIS LAWYER!

Mr. McGill is everything these reviews say about him & more.....If I could give him 10 stars, I would! My case is pending, however, even if It comes back from OPM as denied, I know that I had hired the best!!! This disability retirement process is more stressful than going to work, trying to do your ...job and all the while you struggle with disabilities....Not to mention having to deal with Management (who are less than understanding or compassionate)....I wish had hired him from the beginning...Anyone who reads this, PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS ALONE!!!!!

Worth It

I had never hired a lawyer before and was very nervous about hiring one, especially one in another state who I couldn’t meet in person. I found him online and read many reviews before I contacted him. I was not sure I even had a chance to get disability retirement as I had an unusual health situa...tion. Before talking to him, I was basically waiting to be fired because I was not able to return to work and did not know what to do. When I talked to him about my situation, he explained a lot to me and told me he felt I had a good chance of being approved with my doctor’s support. He emphasized the importance of the doctor’s input, so I understood better what I needed to do. I liked the fact that he charged a flat fee upfront. No surprises wondering how much it would cost in the end. Mr. McGill sent me a long list of references. I emailed 5 of them. They all graciously responded. I hired him and found him to be exactly as others described him. He ALWAYS responded to calls and emails usually within an hour or at least within 24 hours. He is very direct and to the point and gets the job done. Due to my medical issues, I sometimes had difficulty understanding instructions or comprehending what I had to do and would get upset and call or email him with my questions and concerns. He always clarified what I needed to do and reassured me he would take care of things. I greatly appreciated his patience and respectfulness of me as a person. He explained up front that the process could take a year or longer. His first update for me from OPM, they were telling him 12-18 months. It took 11 months, and my application was approved on the first round. I am so thankful I hired Mr. McGill. There is no way I could have handled it on my own. Prior to hiring him, I had already gone through the process with my agency for approval to work from home, be put on FMLA, etc. and had an extremely stressful time with that. No matter what documentation I provided, it was never right. They would always come back and say they needed something other than what they asked for in their letters. I knew OPM would be even worse. Save yourself the agony and wasted time and hire Mr. McGill.

Changed my life

Mr. McGill changed my life. Disibility retirement is a stressful process. Having Mr. McGill on my side made it less stressful. He did all the work and I was approved. I highly recommend this fine man. Shaun Postal service (retired) Nebraska

Professional, courteous, attentive and EXTREMELY knowledgable. Get's the job done.

To say that Mr. McGill's legal knowledge, especially about the inner workings of OPM and federal disability law, is considerable would be an understatement. It's exceptional. As is his professionalism and care with your case. It's a lengthy process. At least it was for me. About 1 yr and 6 m...os from the moment Mr. McGill initiated paperwork between myself, my doctors and the HR dept at my agency (USCIS) to the moment I (finally) received the approval letter of benefits from OPM. I truly believe that I, nor any other lawyer, would not have been nearly as successful, without the use of a few appeals. With Mr. McGill my claim was processed and approved from the initial submission. Whenever I needed clarity on anything in the interim, I knew that I could reach out to him and that he would respond immediately with clear and succinct answers and advice. I cannot recommend his services MORE! If you decide to attain his legal help, you should go into it knowing full well that you're in good hands and that he will handle your case to the fullest. I hope this helps anyone out there searching and sitting on the fence about Mr. McGill. Don't waste anymore time and contact him immediately. The sooner you do, then the sooner you'll (most likely) retire.

Federal Disability Retirement

I contacted Mr Robert McGill based on the information on his website and after reading his client reviews. He responded to my first inquiry within less than 24 hours and answered all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my initial questions and offered additional ...information which my own government agency was not able to do. Once hired, he immediately began working for me, contacting my doctors and preparing all of the paperwork. Even after final paperwork was submitted, Mr McGill continued to answer my questions and within 7 month, I received approval of my disability claim. Currently he continues to assist me regarding receipt of my interim payments. His fee is fair and affordable and you get more than your money's worth. Not only is he professional and knowledgeable, but he is also compassionate and concerned over your well being throughout the process.
