Hire him

There is a lot at stake with the federal disability retirement process. I wanted to have all my ducks in order and put forth the strongest case possible from the beginning. McGill got the packet approved on first review. I looked around for the best lawyer possible and hired McGill. I also spoke to ...several of his previous clients which he had helped to get an approval. All of them told me “Hire him”. I also read several articles that he had written. A friend asked me why I hired a lawyer to do a process which is free. Realize this, you are a “know nothing” when it comes to this process. If you fail to address everything that OPM wants addressed and you get a denial, you are at a huge disadvantage bringing in a lawyer, after the fact, to clean up some crayon eating mistakes that you so smartly made in your claim. I hired a lawyer because the outcome of this process was very important to me and McGill was the best I could find. -Very professional and knowledgeable. -Immediately told me the strengths and weaknesses (soberingly so) of the case and what we would do to fortify the weaknesses. -Explained the process and answered every single question that I ever asked to my satisfaction. -Answered the phone when I called or got back to me the same day in a timely manner. -Answered all emails in a timely manner. -I felt he realized that his job is to work for me and he used his knowledge and experience to that end. -He has been in this practice for a long time. -He was a down to earth guy and zero attitude or lawyer narcissist entitlement syndrome with high social intelligence and self awareness. -Genuinely cared about doing the best job possible on my case. I remember being surprised about him asking me what I thought about a letter he wrote for my packet. The guy legitimately has pride in his work. - No bait and switch BS lawyer, he is legit and doesn’t rest on his laurels. -He did his f’ing job and we got the approval. Money well spent.

He is the real thing

Robert charges a fee based on your salary up front. It is a leap of faith to do that, so I believe information about how he practices should be available for review. Federal Disability is all he practices. When you fill out the forms, he knows what to write and more importantly what not to write. I k...new that I could not go back to my job and work effectively and I wrote a statement that I believed proved that. I do not recall the details, but he told me that is just telling them you are temporarily disabled and you can go back to work. He did not tell me to lie and I didn't lie. What he did was have the experience to know how to tell the truth that will most likely earn you the disability. The man is a machine. As busy as he is, he always got back to me on the same or next business day when I had any kind of question, no matter how small. After starting the process, I would say that unless you are dying, it would be nearly impossible to win a Federal disability award with the assistance of a lawyer. I had already resigned from my position when I applied for disability. I believed my chances where slim, and writing that check was a real leap of faith, For what Mr. McGill does for you, the fee is extremely reasonable, no nickel and diming, one flat fee up front. Federal disability is all he does. He has the experience. He knows what works and what doesn't. The process is long and anxiety producing, particularly when you have put your money down and you don't know what is going to happen. Every single time I contact Mr. McGill, he got back to me right away. That gave me a feeling of security and was very helpful along the way. If you have a case for Federal Disability, I recommend Mr. McGill wholeheartedly!

I'm forever honored and thankful and blessed to be in need and find the person needed. Attorney Robert McGill hoping the Best for you always peace, love, and good health!

POSTAL DISABILITY

Attorney McGill was very responsive from the beginning and contacted the doctors early in the process to request the information needed. He always answered any questions we had during the process. The disability process was very stressful for me trying to apply on my own, so the money I paid Mr. McGi...ll was well with it because he knows exactly how to submit and present your case. I would HIGHLY recommend Atty McGill to guide you through the Federal Disability process. J. Wilson, Postal employee, Washington, DC Area

Hire Attorney McGill

Mr. McGill changed my life for the better, forever. I hired him to represent me for the OPM disability retirement application and adjudication process right from the beginning, based on what other federal employees who used him had told me. I was awarded disability retirement, no appeal needed and no... questions asked, only 57 days after my application was submitted by my fed gov agency! ! I was expecting 12-18 months and maybe then an appeal. Mr. McGill offered guidance and review in my application derivation, resulting in a strong case and paperwork I felt comfortable submitting. I went from panic and form info guessing to knowing I submitted a strong case and that my forms were completed properly. He consistently returned my communications within 24 hours, often within an hour, and was always helpful and thorough. My case/medical condition was not particularly clear-cut, so I feel it was the strength of his input, legal cover letter, guidance on what medical records I needed, how to work with my doctors, explanations of process steps and timelines, and resulting quality application that made the entire difference. Now I can rest easy after not working and no income for 4 years in knowing I have secured OPM disability retirement income and health insurance for life. He offered a flat rate commensurate with my difficult financial situation, but I offered to pay him more, commensurate with my greater pay grade. I HIGHLY recommend using Mr. McGill from the very beginning, before you prepare your medical records and application, and for me the value of his service for the money is incalculable. He was honest in his assessment of the winnability of my case, no false pretenses. No-one can guarantee OPM will approve your disability in 57 days, but in using McGill, I believe you maximize your chances of success, and that is well worth the money. Don't mess around with the application game or seek cheaper lawyers like I did initially that led me astray, the system can best you - hire a good attorney (whoever it is) even if you have to borrow money, and I strongly endorse hiring Robert McGill! Btw his rates are comparable to other firms.
