Highly recommend!

I researched attorneys for my federal disability retirement application thoroughly and interviewed several. It was difficult for me to entrust a virtual stranger with the task of representing me when the outcome would have life long ramifications. Even more so because these were not in person intervi...ews as there were no attorneys specializing in this area who were local to me. Bottomline, you can trust that Attorney Robert Mcgill will do everything that he says he will do and more. As the application came together and was submitted, I realized that this truly is someone who understands the FERS disability process and knows exactly what information is needed and how to present that information to receive an approval. He is who he says he is; he is an expert in this area. He quickly responds to emails and calls and hones in on the issues wasting no time. I am so thankful that I came across Robert Mcgill on the internet. I’m grateful for his patience and perhaps most importantly the pride he takes in his work and in getting the job done and winning the case. Believe him. You can trust him. He understands FERS disability retirement and this aspect of OPM and federal agencies inside and out. I truly believe if Robert Mcgill cannot get an approval done and, possibly in record time, then perhaps no one can because he’s mastered this process. Thank you Robert. I will be referring anyone I encounter who needs help with FERS disability retirement to you (and already have)!

OUTSTANDING Service and Invaluable Peace of Mind

When I became seriously injured while working for the United States Post Office, I was told by my Orthopedic Surgeon that I was 100% disabled. I was already in the process of applying for Workers Compensation (without an attorney). That was a never-ending nightmare of filling out forms, gathering med...ical records, asking doctors to write letters, making phone calls, uploading documents, being denied, requesting appeals, being denied… It was very time-consuming and beyond stressful. My injury occurred before my official retirement date and I learned that Federal employees who become disabled have an option to retire early; Federal Employee Disability Retirement. This was something I was uneducated about, so I went online to learn what it consisted of and what steps I needed to take. I discovered a treasure-trove of well-written and extremely informative articles on the subject written by Mr. Robert R. McGill. https://federaldisabilitylawyer.com/federal-disability-retirement-articles/ After reading them, I felt confident that Mr. McGill should handle my case. Though I do not live in the same state he practices in, because he is a Federal Attorney, this was not an issue. Thank goodness. Our phone consultation cemented my decision to hire Mr. McGill specifically. He is personable, attentive, and an extremely knowledgeable professional who asked good questions, answered all of my questions, and left me feeling certain that he would work hard for me. And that’s exactly what he did. He took on all the responsibilities I would have had to, such as filling out and submitting forms, obtaining medical information and statements from doctors, and attended to numerous other details that would have had me confused and overwhelmed -- and he kept me apprised throughout the entire process. There were times I received requests for information from an agency and asked Mr. McGill what I was to do, only to learn that he’d already handled it! There is no way to describe the peace-of-mind hiring him gave me. I’ve dealt with attorneys in other matters who were robotic, had assistants doing most of their work, communications, and the answering of questions. They handled cases in a cookie-cutter manner; going through the motions and rarely speaking directly to the client. Mr. McGill treated me like a person, not a “case”, answering all of my questions personally and patiently. He answers all email and phone messages personally and promptly, and is always courteous, never dismissive. I was continually amazed at how much attention to detail he gave, at his thoroughness, his excellent communication, and how freeing it’s been not to have to do all the paperwork, and make all the phone calls, and attend to all the other aspects of filing for Federal Employee Disability Retirement. I have never regretted hiring Mr. McGill. His friendly, easy-going manner helped me to relax. His experience and vast knowledge made me feel assured that I had the right man for the job. He never promised I would receive an acceptance to my application for Federal Employee Disability Retirement and even prepared me for the likelihood that it would be denied, at least once, as a matter of course. However, it was approved first time out, I am now officially on Federal Employee Disability Retirement, and Mr. McGill is still making himself available to me for any questions or concerns. My confidence in him is unmeasurable. If you are considering Federal Employee Disability Retirement, don’t stress yourself out any further. Give Mr. McGill a call. 1-800-990-7932 He won’t charge you for his time and he will explain what to expect and will answer all of your questions. His manner, and his outstanding service, will put you at ease, enabling you to attend to your medical condition while he helps you retire smoothly. I'm sure, like me, you will find him to provide outstanding service and invaluable peace of mind.

HEAVY HITTER

I filed my OPM Disability without an attorney for sarcoidosis, asthma and chronic lower back pain in Feb 2021 and was denied Oct 2021. I decided to reach out to Atty McGill and retained him as my attorney in Oct. He got right work. I sent him the requested documents , medicals and XR reports. He fil...ed the reconsideration on my behalf. Any questions along the way l could email or call at any time. Atty McGill responded within thirty minutes. I emailed him to ask. " Do you think l need to send this additional documentation to add as an addendum to the case?" Again, with immediate response l received an email stating, " Let me review notes and call you right back." He stated, "No the additional documents are not necessary. " I stated, "OK." Atty McGill stated, l'll tell you why. You have been approved by OPM for your disability!" This call took place 7Feb22!

The best of the best in obtaining a FERS medical retirement

Mr. Robert McGill will initially give you a free telephone consultation to hear your particular situation and will then sincerely let you know if he thinks you have a chance at successfully securing a medical retirement with OPM. He will then provide you a long list of references for you to review. ... I did exactly that, and everyone I contacted told me how great he was. I also read just about all his reviews available, and did not encounter one single negative review. Additionally, I read the many articles/blogs that he has written regarding this medical retirement process and It became quite evident that he is an authority in this field. After speaking with Mr. McGill a second time, I retained his services. From day one, he was extremely professional, informative, patient, and honest. He will personally promptly return all calls and emails. No secretary, no paralegal, or any other type of assistant will speak you, but just him. He will keep you posted every step of the way, and will go above and beyond to help you secure your medical retirement. From the day OPM received my completed package (after my employer did their part and forwarded it to them), it took OPM 10 weeks to approve my case. Mr McGill knows the ins and outs of this convoluted process and will prepare a solid case to submit to OPM. He is by far the best in this field! He is the real deal and will give your case 100% of his experience, knowledge, and ability. Do not waste your time with anyone else! His fees, in my opinion, are extremely low for the level of professional representation you will receive. I am forever grateful to him. God bless him!

Hire him

There is a lot at stake with the federal disability retirement process. I wanted to have all my ducks in order and put forth the strongest case possible from the beginning. McGill got the packet approved on first review. I looked around for the best lawyer possible and hired McGill. I also spoke to ...several of his previous clients which he had helped to get an approval. All of them told me “Hire him”. I also read several articles that he had written. A friend asked me why I hired a lawyer to do a process which is free. Realize this, you are a “know nothing” when it comes to this process. If you fail to address everything that OPM wants addressed and you get a denial, you are at a huge disadvantage bringing in a lawyer, after the fact, to clean up some crayon eating mistakes that you so smartly made in your claim. I hired a lawyer because the outcome of this process was very important to me and McGill was the best I could find. -Very professional and knowledgeable. -Immediately told me the strengths and weaknesses (soberingly so) of the case and what we would do to fortify the weaknesses. -Explained the process and answered every single question that I ever asked to my satisfaction. -Answered the phone when I called or got back to me the same day in a timely manner. -Answered all emails in a timely manner. -I felt he realized that his job is to work for me and he used his knowledge and experience to that end. -He has been in this practice for a long time. -He was a down to earth guy and zero attitude or lawyer narcissist entitlement syndrome with high social intelligence and self awareness. -Genuinely cared about doing the best job possible on my case. I remember being surprised about him asking me what I thought about a letter he wrote for my packet. The guy legitimately has pride in his work. - No bait and switch BS lawyer, he is legit and doesn’t rest on his laurels. -He did his f’ing job and we got the approval. Money well spent.
