Patrick Crawford takes advantage of his considerable expertise and experience, adds technology, and is thus one of the most efficient lawyers I have heard about, much less experienced. His advice is frank and di...rect, even when it is not what one wants to hear. He is a no-nonsense, "get-it-done" fellow who tells it like it is and makes it happen. He works as a partner with his client throughout the legal process. He's also personable enough and just sympathetic enough to make the legal wrangles more pallatable. Do not let his youthful looks deceive you - this is a veteran with the knowledge and experience to guard a client's interests and pursue the best possible course, but still let the client stear. Having never been involved in a divorce proceeding before, Patrick Crawford put me at ease, explained fully up front what to expect in this adversarial situation, my rights and obligations, time constraints, data required, court procedure, and costs involved. Timely communications between attorney a...nd client was of the essence, and my attorney fully complied in all respects. He was always available to answer any questions and to alert me to the next step in the process. He was fully trustworthy which was very important to me. And he was clearly competent in his knowledge and application of the law. He seemed to be highly respected by his peers both at the courthouse and among opposing counsel. The fact that he is a sole practitioner, I believe, stood him in good stead with me because I felt I was receiving his full attention and the closeness of his office to the court house further expedited his responses to the court with minimum delay and expense.

Patrick Crawford provided succinct and salient guidance throughout my case. His advise was consistently reliable well-timed and valuable. I have worked with many many attorneys in my high conflict custody case for years. Mr. Crawford is THE absolute worse example of a quality attorney. He could not even stand behind his own legal work. He quits in the middle of litigation. He does not follow through with his commitments. He does not p...rovide client a copy of court documents. He does not respect the client has the authority to make decisions. He made decisions without speaking to the client. When client asked for specific corrective request, he was explicitly defiant and would not respect nor comply with the reasonable request. He significantly overcharges. He charged for going to a printer 39 miles away from his office instead of using a printer company within the local community while charging $1.50 for parking. Pat demonstrated unremarkable petty penny pincher practices!! He would NOT use an Appeal service provider client requested, so he could pocket the excessive fees he charged. He charged over $20K in less than 5 months. He used the limited appeal spacing for unnecessary items. He made 8 points of contact in 2 hours to gain more funds even though I was timely with payments. This harassment occurred on more than one occasion. He is rude, condescending, and disrespectful. These few problem listed above only touches the top surface. An Attorney Grievance Complaint will be filed. Check his AGC record. If it were not for the AGC, Crawford would have not provided his initial work and I would have grounds in my case. He still managed to make me lose ground by not complying with clients reasonable requests. There is nothing more frustrating than to pay $20k and to get an approximate 1/3 of the work that was paid for. Save yourself a headache. Do not hire!!! If I could offer a 0 star rating, that would have been too high of rating.
