Michael Edward Lehr

Michael earned his B.A. degree in Economics from University of Maryland in 2005 and was awarded his J.D. degree from University of Baltimore School of Law in 2009.  He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.

Michael is the founder of the Maryland Advanced Planning Study Group, a group of attorneys that meets regularly to study advanced estate planning strategies and discuss recent changes in the law.  Additionally, he organized the Annapolis Wealth Planning Council, a group composed of attorneys, financial advisors, CPAs, insurance agents, employee benefits consultants, and trust officers.  The AWPC’s goal is to educate ourselves and others about the benefits we bring to one another’s clients.  By working together and studying with experts from various disciplines of the financial services industry members of the AWPC are able to better serve their clients.

Michael is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association Section for Estate and Trust Law and the Anne Arundel County Bar Association Section for Estate and Trust Law.  He is also an active participant and member of WealthCounsel LLC, a collaborative network of more than 3,000 estate planning attorneys nationwide. 

Michael was selected as a “Rising Star” in 2012 edition of Maryland Super Lawyers. 

Locally, He serves on the Community Advisory Board for the Anne Arundel County chapter of the YMCA of Central Maryland (“Y of Central Maryland”) and is a member of the Annapolis Rotaract.
