For my divorce she advised me to reject my ex's settlement offer cause, it was way too much. She said she could handle my case save me money and do it quick and cheap. She was wrong about everything. As soon as i paid the retainer her attitude completely change, she delayed court dates after we ...spoke about accelerating the case. Then told me her 1st estimates where off. In the end instead of advising me to take the first offer she had me spend another 2 years in court and paying 4 time the original offer plus lawyer's fees, she had no remorse and acted like it was just another day for her. And why not, she got paid and in hindsight her advise made her a little money, but it cost me everything.

There are so many adjectives that I could use to describe Allyson since I first met her......professional, tough, trustworthy, wise, accessible, ethical, courteous, attentive. But the adjective that I use now for Allyson is friend. I didn't know what to expect when I had our first meeting about my c...ustody case since I had never needed a lawyer before. From the moment I met her, she put me at ease. We just clicked. She told me upfront what to expect and that it wouldn't be easy but that she would help me thru the whole ordeal and she definitely did that! Allyson would call me after hours and on weekends when she could tell I was upset from the numerous voicemails that I had left her. She would just talk to me and reassure me that it would be ok. She basically held my hand thru the entire process knowing that I needed firm guidance and reassurance. She worked w/ me on creating a co-parenting schedule that worked for my family. After many long, heartfelt discussions with Allyson, my ex and I have been able to work together and co-parent in a civil, less stressful manner for the best interest of our daughter. Allyson started off as my lawyer but now I see her as more of my strong, older sister!!!
