I had heard so many stories from other people who had filed bankruptcy that my bankruptcy would take a long time to go to court and be heard and the... paperwork would be daunting. As soon as I called Ed Christman not only was he able to meet with me right away but was also able to get my case heard in less than 45 days of filing. the man is amazing.!!! I am writing this review to thank two of the finest attorneys that I had the pleasure of working with. I had a very STRESSFUL case. Everything that could go wrong did. Mr. Christman is a very knowledgeable and dedicated attorney. He went to fight for me and my case. He wouldn't accept "NO" for an ans...wer. He fought long and hard for my case. Due to him being very consistent, my case was finally ruled in my favor. I can not tell you how many nights I walked the floors over this matter. I am not a person that generally need an attorney for anything. I live a pretty boring and legal lifestyle. I was a first time bankruptcy, (Chapter 7) and doing so was very scary. I suspect the same for most everyone. The first thing that hit me when I arrived was their personal attention to me as a person, which made the legal stuff feel more like a conversation and not like an interrogation. They help...ed identify details that I needed to get back to them on and they were very good at filling in the blanks I had about how the system works. All very calming to my senses, giving me the feeling that this was both doable and the right thing to do in my case. The process took awhile to complete, which constantly had me wondering, but a quick call to them and I had whatever info I was looking for on the status of the filing. At the courtroom their representative sat with me to explain the process and procedure which eased my nervousness. By the time I sat with the judge to discuss my case I was well prepared and ready to answer questions or acknowledge my well prepared documentation. In less than 10 minutes the judge had his info to rule on and I was thanking my counsel. Very painless and efficient.
