If I could give this attorney a negative -1 I would. I have been trying to get a loan modification since July of 2020. I wish I had read these negative reviews before I hired this attorney. My experience with Mr. Christman and his staff was that Christman hardly ever returned my phone calls only call...ed when the mortgage company contacted him to state that I was more than 3 months behind on my payments. He never reached out to the mortgage company on my behalf never forwarded correspondence that the bank kept sending to his office even after I requested that they send correspondence directly to me in reference to gathering documents needed to assist in reviewing my loan for a modification. Christman refused to ask the trustee for a statement verifying payments to mortgage company. It was just a nightmare and I am still trying to work with the bank after Christman has gotten away with thousands of dollars . He is a crook and I do not recommend anyone to use this predator beware . He preys on people who do not know their rights. He was famous for saying whenever I asked wear is the money going that I have paying “don’t worry about it”. He is a very rude and nasty man .

Negative poor! Christman reached out to often he seemed so concerned about my plight so I agreed to hire him. He charged me $2000 upfront to file a chapter 13 bk because I told him I needed him to file an objection to Wells Fargo/BONY Mellon, he agreed to file the objection.! After he got the money, ...things went downhill. After 6 months he never filed the objection, missed a filing deadline then withdraw and refused to give me any of the money back. He is a predator, he has a habit of missing deadlines and the grievance commission supports and overlooks his dereliction of duties, even though missing deadlines and statute of limitations is death-dealing to a person’s case. From the first day I contacted Mr. Christman he has ALWAYS responded via text or phone. Never made me feel like I was getting on his nerves. Answered every question that I had. Mr. Christman has welcoming personality and made me feel comfortable with him filing my Chapter 7 on my behalf. His recept...ionist Jamie is a sweetheart as well and very helpful!! Great team!!!

Mr. Ed Christman is truly a caring, knowledgeable and proficient attorney who actually takes the time and care to provide outstanding customer service. I had heard so many stories from other people who had filed bankruptcy that my bankruptcy would take a long time to go to court and be heard and the... paperwork would be daunting. I am writing this review to thank two of the finest attorneys that I had the pleasure of working with. I had a very STRESSFUL case. Everything that could go wrong did. Mr. Christman is a very knowledgeable and dedicated attorney. He went to fight for me and my case. He wouldn't accept "NO" for an ans...wer. He fought long and hard for my case. Due to him being very consistent, my case was finally ruled in my favor. I can not tell you how many nights I walked the floors over this matter. I am not a person that generally need an attorney for anything. I live a pretty boring and legal lifestyle. I can honestly say that if I ever find myself in need of an attorney, Mr. Christman is where I will be running to. Also, Mr. Christmas has an attorney that works with him out of the same office by the name of Mr. McGrady. This gentleman showed me a sensitive and compassionate side of himself regarding another personal and concerning issue going on in my life.
