Mr Christman is a negative. He appears to please chapter 7 filers but if you’re filing Chapter 13 he is a con artist. His way of stealing your money. December 2021 he admitted that for more than 10 years he did not keep records of money he received from his clients. Please everyone let’s expose this ...man for the fraudster and liar he is verify this by calling the Maryland attorney grievance commission if you had a bad experience I urge you to file a complaint against him he’s a dangerous predator His friends Lydia Lawless, Hein and Erin Risch are no longer at the AGC to protect him. He must be stopped

If I could give this attorney a negative -1 I would. I have been trying to get a loan modification since July of 2020. I wish I had read these negative reviews before I hired this attorney. My experience with Mr. Christman and his staff was that Christman hardly ever returned my phone calls only call...ed when the mortgage company contacted him to state that I was more than 3 months behind on my payments. He never reached out to the mortgage company on my behalf never forwarded correspondence that the bank kept sending to his office even after I requested that they send correspondence directly to me in reference to gathering documents needed to assist in reviewing my loan for a modification. Christman refused to ask the trustee for a statement verifying payments to mortgage company. It was just a nightmare and I am still trying to work with the bank after Christman has gotten away with thousands of dollars . He is a crook and I do not recommend anyone to use this predator beware . He preys on people who do not know their rights. He was famous for saying whenever I asked wear is the money going that I have paying “don’t worry about it”. He is a very rude and nasty man .

Negative poor! Christman reached out to often he seemed so concerned about my plight so I agreed to hire him. He charged me $2000 upfront to file a chapter 13 bk because I told him I needed him to file an objection to Wells Fargo/BONY Mellon, he agreed to file the objection.! After he got the money, ...things went downhill. After 6 months he never filed the objection, missed a filing deadline then withdraw and refused to give me any of the money back. He is a predator, he has a habit of missing deadlines and the grievance commission supports and overlooks his dereliction of duties, even though missing deadlines and statute of limitations is death-dealing to a person’s case. I think that he has gotten money hungry I used him in 2003 and went back in 2013 and gave him 800 dollars and didn’t go through didn’t get any money back. Went back in 2019 knowing the laws had changed but didn’t know the how or what changed. When I went to talk to him to find out the first thing I w...as told before I could talk to him was I needed to give 100 dollars. When he came in he talked about more money never explained what options I had and he walked out.

When my house which was included in the bankruptcy was auctioned and papers were filed by an attorney representing the mortgage company stating that I owed the deficet of $180,000.00 I contacted the attorney per instructions from Mr. Christman's office and was told by the attorney for the mortgage co...mpany that it was incorrect and I could not have discharged the home and that I would owe that money. I then mailed a letter, with copies of emails and paperwork for the Circuit Court case to Mr. Christmas, the auditor and all the people named in the papers filed in the Circuit Court, overnight, I waited over a week to see if I would even get a call from Christman's office. I did not receive one. When I then called the office I was put on hold for a long time so I hung up and sent a message through the contact us on the website. Within the hour I got a call from Mr. Christman, because he thought I was a new client I guess and I told him the whole ordeal and he said, "people read those things wrong and if they are trying to collect this post bankruptcy you can sue them." I asked if he had looked at the paper that I had overnighted more than a week ago and he blew it off and just said I was misrreading the document and that everything was okay. This was without reading what I sent to him and without my file in his hands. I am very frustrated. I am waiting for one day to have my bank account frozen and have no funds because he could not be bothered to look over the paperwork and my file to reassure me it was handled as needed. Needless to say I will be picking up a copy of all my paperwork tomorrow and taking it to another attorney. If Christman doesn't want my money I'll find someone who will not only read my documents but will reassure me things will be handled so I can live without worry. I am on disability due to not only a nervous breakdown, diagnosed Major Depressive Disorder, Fibromyalgia and severe Osteoporosis. I can't handle too much stress without ending up in a hospital. I will not let this man but me in a grave. His staff was great until the discharge. I only saw Christman in court. I would give his staff five stars. They are the ones that really do the work.
