I hired Chad Cos for my family law case that went on for quite some time. I found Chad to be extremely approachable, thorough and knowledgeable. He consistently made time to sit down and explain proceedings and expectations to me, and always returned my phone calls and inquiries in a timely manner. I can not stress enough how hard Chad fought to obtain the best result for myself and my family. He was kind, sensitive and listened to our needs and his knowledge and skill in the field of law is formidable. He is someone that fights endlessly and tirelessly for his clients. I can not recommend the Law offices of Chad Edward Cos enough.

Attorney Chad Cos is hands down one of the smartest and toughest attorney’s you will come across. He listened to my story and fought for me and I got my life back. I cannot thank him enough in ten life times
Here we go, I was looking at losing my house and being sued, but because of attorney Chad Cos I settled with a little over 86,000 dollars in my pocket.
I co-owned a 2-unit property with what I thought was a trustworthy person. I lived in one unit with my young children and the “other party” lived in the adjoining unit. Shortly after we purchased the property the “other party” starting behaving in ways around my children that I deemed him not trustworthy if you catch my drift. I wanted to opt out of our co-ownership, but did not know how to go about it. So I hired my first attorney, not Mr. Chad Cos
The house was paid off and me and the “other party” did renovations to the house. He paid for most of the material while I did all of the work. I will admit he did have more financial means than me at this time. After I decided to move out I contacted my first attorney ( not Chad Cos)He advised me to get the house appraised. It appraised at roughly 325,000. We purchased the house in 2013 for 190,000. We had roughly made 135,000 in equity in 2 years.
I found the property and did the real estate transaction while the other party financed most of the transaction, but that was part of our agreement and it was in writing, that his brother, an attorney wrote up himself.
So when my attorney contacted the “other party’s” attorney, his brother, to notify him that I wanted out, I received a certified letter from the other party’s attorney that I had 30 days to come up with 325,000 plus another 25,000 to buy out the other party or they were going to sue and or possibly evict me. My attorney advised me to sign over the house and leave with nothing to avoid a possible lawsuit. I could not believe it, so that’s when I hired Mr. Chad Cos.
Within a week Mr. Chad Cos had everything under control. we had the house up for sale within 2 weeks and it was under contract in 10 days. We sold the property under market value, but I was in agreement with the sales price. At the closing table I left with a check for a little over 86,000 thousand dollars. Three weeks prior to hiring Attorney Chad Cos, I was advised to leave with nothing from my former attorney.
Again, my first attorney had me in a position to lose everything and within weeks of hiring Mr. Chad Cos I left with 86k and since then I purchase a new home and I can sleep better knowing my children have a safe place to live.
A little background about me, I am a single father of three young children, an Iraq veteran. I am currently finishing my bachelor’s degree to be a teacher, while moonlighting as a real estate agent. I also am a head varsity wrestling coach at a local high school

My sister had hired Chad for a particularly difficult custody case (which he won)! She recommended him to me for my bankruptcy. Chad Cos is a consummate professional. He is articulate, he is timely, he is friendly, and he is compassionate. He goes above and beyond to make sure you understand what is going on. For instance, I didn't understand a certain aspect of my case; I swear that man has the patience of a saint. Because he probably explained the same thing three thousand times and never batted an eye. I've seen Chad Cos in action on several occasions. He's a lot like Superman...mild mannered, outside the courtroom...then inside the courtroom, tough and steely! If you ever want a guy in your corner, you'd have a tough time finding someone better than Chad Cos. I would hire him again for any legal matter. Seriously, it bears repeating - get Chad Cos. He's THE BEST!!!

I hired Chad for a bankruptcy. He was very down to earth and didn't exude that arrogance that many lawyers do. I've lost friends that once they passed the bar they were suddenly the smartest person in the room. Chad wasn't like that at all. He listened to what I had to say and together we came up with a solution that was in my family's best interest. I met with several other firms and I got the feeling that they were just preparing documents and filling out forms. Like I was at the DMV trying to change my license or something. Bankruptcy is one of those life changing events that deserves a little attention. No matter how routine it is to the lawyer, it is scary to the client. Chad gets that.
He responded promptly to any questions I had. Often within the hour!
I've been discharged, case closed and all. The entire process was fairly easy once we decided what the best course of action was.
