I would hire Brian Bennett again

I hired Brian Bennett to handle my father's estate and he did an excellent job in locating all of his assets, some of which were unknown to me and my sisters, and getting them distributed to us quickly. He was also able to fend off several alleged creditors, one whom was an ex-girlfriend, who tried ...to claim that she was entitled to some kind of support. I and my sisters were very happy with him and his friendly and helpful staff. He and they always answered all of our questions.

Do not recommend for Elder Care

During the time he wrote my father's will, he provided incorrect information about executor selection. In Maryland you can not have two people with equal responsibility; one person has to be the majority. After my father's death, this error caused the family a number of problems with setting up an e...state account and ability to access saving and IRA information. The solution for him was to make himself the executor. He did not pay bills in a timely matter; I found it settling for myself to pay the bills and than request a reimbursement. He did not provide regular reports or itemized checking account statements without being asked several times. He did not return phone calls in a timely matter, usually at least a week later.

Review of Brian D. Bennett

Mr. Bennett did not provide timely reports of expenses, he was impossible to contact or to receive return communication (phone, letter or fax). He gave me wrong counsel, admitted he had made a mistake, but did not take responsibility for his counsel. His counsel cost me penalties and fines.
