I sincerely believe that no person is illegal and that we need immigration reform to resolve a broken system. I consider immigration law to be a calling as part of a deeply held religious belief in the concept of Tikkun Olam, which in Hebrew means repair the world. No human has the right to tear apart families united by God and we must work within our legislative process and judicial decisions to change our immigration laws in an orderly process.
From 2009 through 2014, I served as an officer on the Executive Committee of the DC/MD/VA chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (including president) and am active in several immigrant rights organizations. I was a charter member of the Maryland State Bar Immigration Law Section and have served on the Advisory Council for seven years. I regularly speak to groups and write letters to public forums to educate the American public that immigration is not a dirty word.
I am currently a liaison between the Baltimore USCIS District office and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
I teach immigration law at Stevenson University as an Adjunct Professor, teaching the next generation of paralegals and professionals why immigration law is integral to our society.
I self financed 100% of my education through four degrees in night school while working full time during the day. I therefore have a strong appreciation and affinity for self directed clients who seek a better life for themselves and their families. We are a team and your immigration issues are my issues.
We are all immigrants or descended from immigrants.

I had a complex immigration case involving a NOIR and a foreign divorce. My case was in jeopardy of being revoked. Thanks to Cynthia'...
