I found Charlotte on Martindale Hubbard...her profile fit my situation exactly however, I have had many bait and switch type experiences with multiple attorneys-most fall short! I am a military father of three going through a situation/divorce that you could not dream up. Charlotte has proven to be T...HE FIGHTER and most powerful tool during these times. She has delivered and won, for me, every step of the way. She won't tell you want you want to hear. She will be honest and upfront, yet unafraid to challenge anything/anyone in any venue that threaten the best outcome for her client. I have custody of my three children right now, and had to cross the country to find them/pick them up from their mother. Charlotte achieved and facilitate all of this for me. Simply put, I felt helpless at the beginning. Charlotte turned the tides in my favor and protected the safety of my children and my ability to be a father. Charlotte was recommended to me by a Lawyer based out of Vancouver, BC whom he had met at a Conference. I have never required legal services before so this kind of experience for me was new with no expectations. Straight away I was impressed by her no-nonsense, direct approach to my case. She asked t...he right questions, listened to my opinions, understood the approach needed and clearly stated what I needed to do to help her. Over the course of the case (2 months) we touched base once on the progress, and while the conversation was short-lived, she clearly stated how she completes her work, timeframes and what the next-steps were. Being that this case was relatively short compared to others, I was fine to deal with her assistant (Melody) whose communication was unparalleled. All in all, Charlotte got the job done with minimal fuss in an honest manner. I would recommend her to anyone requiring legal services.

Ms. Weinstein is the kind of attorney you definitely want on your side and not the other way around. She's straight forward and tells you exactly what she needs from you in order obtain the best possible outcome for your case. She will tell you what's going to stand out for your case and what will be... irrelevant to the courts. In my situation, in the eyes of the court - I didnt have much of a case - but was fighting for what I strongly felt was in the best interest of my child. Of course, no lawyer can tell you what the outcome of your case will be. However, throughout my entire trial, Ms. Weinstein was by my side with both excellent and more importantly - honest legal advise. She would reassure me when I was overreacting and told tell me if I was under. With not having much of a case to go on, she fought for my child and I until a final decision was made - which was ultimately in our favor. I would recommend Ms. Charlotte Weinstein to anyone needing the best of the best kind of representation. And if you find Charlotte, then congratulations! You just came across the best!

First of all, the attorney is not very good at communication. She doesn't reply to client's e-mails, she'll instead write letters, then have it scanned by her assistant and send by email the next day but she won't reply directly to client's e-mails. She does conveniently use e-mail when she needs to ...reach client urgently for clarification but will not answer anything the client wants to clarify quickly over e-mail. Important case material is not forwarded to client for days at times. Since she doesn't work on Fridays, that added to my case getting delayed just due to lack of communication between me, her and the opposing counsel. Before I hired her, she sounded as though, if the case demanded, she'll work even on Fridays and weekends to get the job done but that's a complete lie as it hasn't happened once in 6 months. I sent her over 20-30 e-mails during the case asking for case updates and how I wanted to settle the case, the issues I needed clarification on or any suggestions I had. Of those 30 e-mails maybe she responded to 5 of them. Only way to reach her is to book a phone or in-person appointment and sometimes she may not be available for days. When you talk to her, the least you expect is for her to have read your e-mails and questions. But she has no clue what you are talking about on the phone because she hardly reads any client e-mails -- then you have to explain her all over. Regarding the case itself, I asked her to add one or two lines to the draft of final judgment, but, as usual she missed reading that e-mail or may have even deliberately ignored taking my suggestion into account and forwarded it to the other party and they signed it. When I asked about it later, she says "it's already done, sorry, cannot be modified now!" Given all the above issues, I honestly cannot recommend her to anyone. For $350/hr you will get a lot of good, patient and down-to-earth lawyers who actually listen to what the client says and solve clients' problems the way the client wants it.
