EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION DISPUTE

Our small business was served with a class action lawsuit involving compensation. We were referred to Monte by out current lawyer in Annapolis due to his advice to use a lawyer with extensive experience handling similar cases in the District Court of Maryland. His responsiveness was exceptional as ...we were scheduled an appointment to review our case immediately. After a very thorough meeting to examine our business practices and history, Monte requested additional information from our records department. These were reviewed within a couple of hours and with a little back and forth, he was satisfied that he had the information needed to discuss our case with the opposing lawyer. Monte kept us informed daily as to the status of his communications and when necessary, responded quickly and succinctly to our questions. He was reassuring, empathetic and straightforward throughout the entire process. Fortunately, we were able to settle our case satisfactorily in a short period of time. Monte also gave advice on preventing any potential claims in the future.

"I have known Monte over 30 years and during that time I have taught Labor & Employment law as continuing education to attorneys as well as being opposing counsel in any other legal matter. I am very picky and critical of attorneys and thus, can tell a good lawyer from a bad one and a good lawyer from a great one. Without question, Monte falls into the last category of great lawyers. To be in that small group, you must not only know your area of law but you must also be able to use that knowledge for the client which Monte always does.
