Not happy

This lawyer was very quick on the phone as if I was keeping her from other things. No other options were offered and pretty much dismissed me and I cannot honestly recommend her to anyone I know. It was the unprofessionalism that has turned me off to her. Thank you

Often, particularly in the employment context, there aren't satisfactory options available. When someone's position has been eliminated and there is no evidence of discriminatory intent, there probably isn't a legal remedy there. There are lawyers who charge a fee to explain that to people. I don't do that, I prefer to tell people up front if I don't think I will be able to assist them with a problem. I am sorry if this caller felt that I was unprofessional, but realistically I can't spend an unlimited amount of time answering people's questions when it seems clear that I won't be able to assist them.

Employment & Labor advice session

It was awful. She delved into other areas unrelated to my question and would not answer my questions that I had posed but instead delved into a long-winded explanation of why she didn't want to and provided varying scenarios that had nothing to do with my question regarding a power of attorney signa...ture. She indicated I might have to potentially release the information anyway, entertaining a variety of possibilities as to why - and when I brought her back to the question, she was incredibly rude. I contacted JustAnswer, paid monies, and received the answer to my question and explanation without any trouble. She was very rude. I did tell her repeatedly she was not answering my question and indicated I would be requesting my monies returned because of that fact.

Unfortunately, as I attempted to explain to this individual, the questions she raised weren't questions that could be answered in a fifteen minute telephone call. The caller was involved in ongoing litigation and represented by another attorney, and as I explained, it is inappropriate to provide advice to persons represented by other counsel. I did try to answer what questions I could. I am sorry that the individual considered me to be rude, but there are limits to what an attorney can do, and her complaint seems to be with the fact that I respect those limits.

If I did not already have an attorney, I would likely hire her!

Very helpful and informative. Knowledgeable and I didn't feel rushed or as if she was being arrogant or rude. I will use all of the information she provided moving forward with my possible legal issue. Thankyouthankyou
