Mr. Smit represented me for my divorce. He was always very prompt and attentive. He addressed all of my questions and concerns and alleviated allot of stress during the process. Kevin Smit is overall excellent! (pardon my punctuation) I will explain in full detail why, Trustworthy, I came to Kevin Smit needing assistance with my divorce and issues involving custody, I came in blind and not knowing where to begin, after sitting down with Kevin about my situation of d...ivorce and not being able to see my children, Kevin immediately reassured me, I felt someone I could really rely on, giving me a boost of confidence, Kevin explained to me in full detail the steps I can take, you could see the honesty. Kevin understood how much my children meant to me and worked with me on the price, that's why I chose excellent in the respective category. Responsive, throughout the process, Kevin was always quick to respond appropriately, I had many questions, kevin always answered, there wasn't a time where I couldn't get a hold of him, also when even the slightest part of my case changed, kevin was on the ball even before I knew and had informed me of the change, with one example, my ex-wife tried to have the venue of the hearings change, after Kevin filing against that, he had informed me that the venues would not changed from doing so, there was never a time I was unsure kevins ability to respond fast and appropriately was superb! so that is why I rate Responsive Excellent. Knowledgeable there were many ways kevin was knowledgeable, one of the many ways kevin was knowledgeable was he had answered every question I possibly had, I had asked in relation on my custody issue, I had asked him what would be the best course of action to get visitation with my children kevin had help lay down a successful action plan. a second example of kevins excellent knowledge is when he or the apposing attorney of my case filed or sent paperwork he took time away from his busy schedule and explained in detail what that particular paper of the moment meant, there was never I time where I felt ignorant towards my court case, he had explained in full detail every single piece of paper involving my case and what it meant. there was never a time he seemed unsure about my process, there are many more ways Kevin's knowledgeable than I give but just these alone is reason enough for my rating of excellent. Keeping me informed, Short and sweet, any change, update, paper that needed filing from kevin or the opposing attorney, dates set by the court, anything and everything! I always received calls/emails and letters instantly in regards, not ONCE was I uninformed I am 100% positive about that, that is why I choose excellent in that category. in conclusion, I would never hesitate to contact Kevin smit for any future needs, I am sure I missed a few things here and there typo's and such but throughout the entire ordeal I with full confidence say when choosing Kevin smit I did not go wrong, Thank you Kevin.
