Evan Keith Langert

I am a seasoned commercial real estate and small to mid-sized business attorney located in Columbia, Maryland.  Licensed since 1985, I spent 1995 through 2004 as the head commercial leasing attorney for Glenborough Realty Trust, a $2.5 billion publicly traded real estate investment trust.  I have negotiated hundreds of office, retail, and industrial leases across the country for both tenants and landlords, and have also taken commercial properties through the entitlement, construction, and leasing processes.

Real estate deals that I've negotiated include Lord & Taylor, Circuit City, Outback Steakhouse, Chipotle, Starbuck's, Popeye's, Hometown Buffet, Dosa (one of San Francisco's top 10 restaurants), MetLife, Aetna, Merrill Lynch, Fed Ex, Parsons-Brinckerhoff, International Rescue Committee, ProTech, U.S. Bank, Christian City Church, and many others.  I am also a licensed and practicing commercial real estate broker, and I am an expert in site selection for retail and office clients.  I frequently serve as both the leasing broker and the leasing attorney.  I will find the right site for my client, negotiate the best business deal, and then negotiate the best legal terms for them.
