Biography
ichael A. DuBey, a native of Howard County, received his undergraduate degree in history from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2013 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2017, where he graduated cum laude.
While attending law school, Michael served as an intern for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, Felony Trial division in Baltimore City and as an intern to the Honorable William V. Tucker in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland. Michael also served as a Rule 16 Student Attorney with the Howard County State’s Attorney Office and as a research assistant in legal history. During law school, Michael was admitted to the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society and was a University of Baltimore Law Forum staff editor.
Upon graduating from law school, Michael served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable William V. Tucker in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland. Michael practiced civil litigation, criminal and family law in Montgomery and Howard County prior to joining King Hall in September of 2020 where he focuses on estate, trust, guardianship litigation and business representation. Michael is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and is a member of the Howard County Bar Association and Maryland State Bar Association.
