I was fortunate enough to be a co-worker of Patrick's when I worked in Account Management at Crawford Advisors. Patrick is an invaluable member of the Crawford team. In his role as ERISA counsel, he works closely with Account Management to ensure that they proactively provide proper guidance to thei...r clients and deliver services to them in a compliant way. He is particularly appreciated and respected by clients, who rely on his ability to translate abstract, complex legal concepts into practical and actionable advice for day-to-day operations. (Speaking as an HR practitioner, this kind of real-world advice is invaluable.) In addition to his fantastic skills and expertise, Patrick's sense of humor, leadership and team attitude make him an all-around terrific person to work with! In my current role, I also serve on the Board of a local chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, and was grateful to have Patrick donate his time and talents to a Legislative Update seminar we sponsored in April, 2009. His preparation was thorough, the material and information he provided was abundant, and his engaging presentation style helped to make even the minutiae of all the different laws and regulations interesting.
