Mackenzie Evans

Mackenzie A. Evans, Esq. earned a Bachelor's of the Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2008, and a Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law in May 2013.  On December 19, 2013, Mackenzie was sworn into the State of Maryland Bar in Annapolis, Maryland.   

While a student at Howard University School of Law, Mackenzie studied extensively the areas of intellectual property law, namely copyrights and trademarks; corporate law and business formation; and wills, trusts and estates.  She earned an award in the Fall of 2012 for highest achievement in international business transactions studies and continues to dedicate much of her professional effort to providing business and legal services to small start-up businesses in various industries. 

Mackenzie considers herself a lifetime learner and enjoys opportunities to challenge herself through new experiences.  One of her passions is language learning, and she speaks Spanish at professional proficiency and French and Portuguese at novice proficiency.  Causes about which Mackenzie cares deeply are adult literacy, holistic and spiritual health and environmental conservatism.  At her leisure, she enjoys equestrian sports, yoga and pilates, cooking and baking, Latin dancing, listening to music, traveling, reading and spending time with loved ones.
