The Clark Kent of L/T Attorneys
Brian Gormley is AMAZING. He helped us (landlord) when other's would not. We were led to believe our case was too challenging because DC is tenant friendly and they wanted us to start over, as we initially filed without an attorney. Brian didn't. He took us on and was successful in representing us. If you can imagine how it is to feel defeated before you show up for the game that is how we felt but he wouldn't let us give up. I'm so glad and grateful he didn't. Without him and his expert negotiation skills we would be back at ground zero. I am shouting and singing his praises to any and everyone. If you need a knowledgeable, insightful, empathetic and a GREAT landlord/tenant attorney then Brian Gormley is the one to call.

Brian Gormley is the best!
Brian recently assisted me with the settlement of my Mother's estate in MD. My Mom left a will which stated to liquidate the estate and divide equally among all 6 siblings. My Brother was listed as the PR but her refused to file her will, he had been living for free at her house for many years and didn't want to leave, I had to file her will myself. My siblings all wanted to keep the house in the family but I live in CA and just wanted my share and offered to let them buy me out... that's where the fighting began. I hired Brian to represent me and he walked me through the entire process, he always kept a cool head while things got very ugly and was always there for me. My entire family turned on me and none of my siblings have spoken to me in over a year yet Brian, being the perfect Gentleman, encouraged me to keep my chin up and was ever so reassuring when things looked bleak and felt like it would never end. While it took 2 years to settle the estate due to my family's inability to rationally communicate, it all worked out in the end, they got to keep the house and I got my fair share. I would highly recommend Brian to anyone looking for the most knowledgeable and compassionate attorney, he is simply the BEST!

Brian Gormley is EXTRAORDINARY
Brian helped me out a situation that almost placed me into financial ruins. He helped me to short sale a property that was so behind in payments due to a long drawn out court battle (3-4 years) that was nearly impossible for me to catch up. He guided me through the entire process, he was very honest and educated me on every single step, and was always available whenever I had questions. Although, it was a very difficult battle with the mortgage companies, he never gave up, as a matter of fact I think they motivated him to fight harder, this man doesn’t back down. Because of his will to win, it encouraged me to hold my head up, roll up my sleeves and stay in the fight. He is very compassionate in what he do, very genuine. He not only got the short sale approved for me, the banks forgave the deficiency. I can’t begin to tell you, how much he has impacted my life. He is definitely someone you want in your circle.

Not even the courtesy of a brief response after a month!
A month ago I emailed Mr. Gormley through the AVVO message system and received a notice that the message had been sent. I asked only three brief and basic questions about his practice, each of which could be answered briefly and quickly, taking probably less than 15 seconds total., and included my cell number and email address. Nevertheless, over a month later, I have received not even the courtesy of a brief response.
