Andy Hoverman strives to give personalized legal services suited to the needs of each client. Andy has provided representation for clients residing, or needing representation, in the cities of Rockville, Gaithersburg, Upper Marlboro, Hyattsville, Ellicott City, and Baltimore; and the counties of Montgomery, Prince George’s, and Howard. He is proud to advise and represent clients in criminal, traffic, family, and personal injury law matters throughout the State of Maryland.
Andy graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics and a minor in History. After his undergraduate studies, Andy attended and graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He was subsequently admitted to the Maryland Bar.
Prior to law school, Andy was very active in numerous political campaigns throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. He was the Staff Director for the Democratic Party of Virginia’s “Promote and Protect the Vote” Program in 2006. In that election cycle, there were multiple contested races where he developed an appreciation for the law under the guidance of skilled election law attorneys. He remains strongly committed to participating in political campaigns and the electoral process to this day.
Andy also worked as a staff aide to the then Vice Chair of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors while attending George Mason and after graduation. He was responsible for issues relating to transportation, budget, and monitoring Virginia legislation.
Andy has resided in the Washington Metropolitan region (first in Virginia, now in Maryland) for the past 18 years.
