Biography
Laila Ghauri is the principal attorney and founder of the Antares Law Firm. She focuses her practice in government contracts, intellectual property, general civil litigation, and small business advising. Previously, she worked for large firms, including Kelley Drye Warren, government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and midsize firms focusing on employment law and civil rights. She has experience in bid protests and claims in government contract matters, False Claims Act litigation, advising small to mid-size companies in protecting their intellectual property, and has advised nonprofits and start ups with formation and business strategy.
She graduatated from the George Washington University Law School in 2018, from where she also earned her bachelors and masters degrees. In her previous career, Laila was a university professor and taught at several universities on the East Coast and is a published author. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in law and religion. Laila has native fluency in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. In her free time, she loves writing fiction, international travel, and practicing yoga.
