While I was going throu...gh the most difficult time in my life, Virginia ensured that mine and my daughter’s best interest would be met. It is because of Virginia’s help and immense knowledge of the law that she was able to get me through a very complicated and discouraging legal process which resulted in a very good outcome in both my child custody and divorce cases. Virginia is level-headed, fair, has a healthy sense of humor and retaining her was the best decision I could have made, and although I would have preferred not to have to go through a legal battle, it was so much more survivable because Virginia was on my side, I slept better, knowing that she “had my back.”

Starting my journey to divorce and not knowing anything or what to do I was referred to Virginia by a friend and it was the best recommendation she could have made. From the minute I met her she listened and made me feel so comfortable and explained things in ways I could understand. She helped for...mulate our agreement so perfectly and that's how I knew she truly listened and understood my situation. She protected my interests and took careful consideration with my children and was never in any way unprofessional. A true pro and it is just clear that she knows her sh*t. She was able to come at our split from multiple angles working with me to craft the best agreement and responses to my ex-husband - it took a few attempts mainly because of her efforts to make it better each time we reviewed it. I loved her personal touch and her concern and the way she remembered everything from visit to visit. I would recommend her to anyone, in fact I already have. She's wonderful!

I found Virginia through the Montgomery County Women's Commission (MCWC) about 2 years before I was ready to proceed with my divorce. I attended the session at the MCWC then made an appointment to chat. She provided me with sound advice and recommended I return when I was ready. Sadly, I returned.... With her able assistance, I planned my divorce and departure from MD. Virginia helped me to assemble a separation agreement that protected me and my interests while being mindful of my spouse. Although this was one of the most difficult decisions, I have made in my life, I am so thankful that I had Virginia helping me every step of the way. Since I no longer lived in Maryland, during the divorce process, Virginia and her staff were flexible and available whenever I called. I didn't even return to Maryland for the divorce hearing. I highly recommend Virginia. I was impressed by her ability to hear what I perceived as potential challenges and her expert ways of addressing them. Her years of experience and compassion were apparent.
