Divorce and disability

Soon Ei is a great attorney. I started with her at the beginning of my separation. She handled things the way I expected an attorney would handle things. Because of pandemic the entire proceeding was on video. I had developed a severe case of coronavirus. Left my health in bad shape. I had a hard... time going through and understanding the process. Severe brain fog. Both attorneys wanted me to go on disability. Soon Ei introduced another attorney into my case. Things didn’t go well after. Soon Ei witnessed what the new attorney was doing and should have corrected the matters. Soon Ei had told me that what a client asks them to do attorneys are to follow through with. Also she should have corrected what I was told by the new attorney. Since new attorney didn’t follow through with what I asked. Opposing attorney told his client to remove the entirety of 2 accounts plus $36k of a heloc loan for no reason. My new attorney let this money go without consulting me. $55k New attorney tells me later in writing that attorneys are not permitted to do this. This is after Soon Ei and I stopped now ex wife from drain our main account. We put everything at equal amounts. Soon Ei made me prove it. These funds put my federal job in jeopardy. During settlement new attorney would not let me ask mediator about any of this money. She said I was not allowed to ask mediator anything. I am sorry Soon Ei was copied on all emails of below and above. New attorney and I discussed about what was to be included in settlement. She did not include anything. New attorney gave me 3 different scenarios as to how she took care of dissipation. $22k She didn’t do any of them Contempt charge that I was found not guilty of was still put in settlement as I was still guilty of it. A criminal act against me put on a document that was incorrect new attorney didn’t put any effort in to removing it. I asked new attorney to ask a question to opposing attorney about trying to live equally. New attorney said they said no. Later I find out she never asked them. There were a series of other emails given to new attorney on settlement day that I wanted in agreement. New attorney did not put in. On Soon Eis behalf she told me what was going to be in settlement. New attorney didn’t follow through with her request either. Soon Ei is a good person and I believe she was just following through with what this attorney did. Although the code of conduct not followed. DOJ said I was temp disabled from coronavirus. I still believe Soon Ei is a great attorney on her own. One thing is make sure attorneys don’t know each other. New attorney knew opposing attorney. Request funds be equal at the onset of separation. I wish I was told this could be done. Only found this out lately by another family law attorney. She filled me in on a lot of things I didn’t know.
