Decisions that had been extensively discussed were never implemented. There was no strategy, except to "pause" work, which effectively sunk my case. I communicated in my first email to Ms. Parvis that I wanted to settle as soon as possible. She initiated settlement discussions two months after I r...etained her, and two days before the end of my case. She was unreachable by email for weeks on end. I brought this case on behalf of a family member with disabilities, and there was supposed to be a longer term discussion with the opposing party about this individual's longterm future, her approach undermined that discussion as well. If you have lots of time on your hand to manage your own case, and ensure that your lawyer actually does what was discussed, if you have the time to track her down when she does not respond to emails, if you have a basic grasp of legal strategy, Ms. Parvis certainly knows the law, it's likely going to work. But I didn't have that kind of time.

Attorney Parvis is a wonderful human and a knowledgeable divorce lawyer. She was with me every step of a very difficult and lengthy path, often when I was confused and needed to discuss different scenarios, and yet I never felt pushed or discounted. She is honest, realistic and caring. She knows her ...stuff and will look out for you. She is more than fair with her and her team's fees. She was all I needed and so much more.
