Diane P Kilcoyne

My practice focuses on e-discovery, information governance, and trial technology – providing small firms, law departments, and solos, with practical, defensible, and cost-effective solutions to e-discovery.  I help clients prepare for complex civil trials involving large volumes of data, with years of experience in identifying the key items that clients need to locate and produce in discovery, and to succeed at depositions and at trial.

I work with clients facing complex civil lawsuits, including large commercial contract disputes, real estate and development disputes, trust and estate litigation, family law and employment litigation, as well as white-collar criminal matters. I have assisted both large and small businesses in the health care, construction, banking, technology, and transportation industries, as well as educational organizations.

I am currently the co-chair of the Technology Committee of the Maryland State Bar Association, and am Vice-Chair of the  E-Discovery Committee of the DC Bar.

I earned my JD from the University of California Davis School of Law, and started my legal career as a Deputy District Attorney in California. I am a member of the Maryland, District of Columbia and California bars, and am admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
