Overrated
This is an arrogant overrated attorney, who did very little with my personal injury case over a period of eight months. After failing to get insurance information, he reneged on our original agreement, and wanted a $10,000 fee instead. Errors were made in mailing documents, and the limited amount of ...
Out of many years of practice, I have obtained a high rating, reflecting plenty of client approvals. Since this client waived any privileges by posting, I can confidently state that I fulfilled the fee agreement, which required an attempt to settle a claim outside of court, with the right to decline suit, thereafter. After several ineffective addresses for the Defendant were given and attempted over a few months, I was able to contact the Defendant, attempt settlement and at no cost to the client. My candid assessment was that liability was very questionable and while the client may have disagreed with my decision not to proceed, my best advice is to accept that decision, let go of any anger and simply move on, seeking other counsel. While I did offer an alternative fee agreement several months ago, the client could not afford it and apparently, could not afford the thousands of dollars in court costs, deposition fees and expert retainers, which I never promised to advance for this case.
"I endorse this lawyer. Charles Chester is a highly regarded long time member of the bar. He has handled nearly every type of case during his very successful career. Charles obtains great results for his clients utilizing his legal acumen and experience."
