From Denial to Acceptance of my Claim

Prior to hiring Scott, the insurance companies were trying to deny my claim based on contributory negligence on my part which was never true. I hired Scott to assist me in my claims process and he was able to advocate clear liability and to have all my damages covered by the at fault insurance company, GEICO. Mr. Bergman was able to settle my case very fairly and I am pleased with the results. Mr. Bergman has represented many of my family members and this is my first case with him. Bad T-bone in Baltimore, MD

This was my first MVA experience and attorney Bergman and his staff were very helpful and patient with me. They had great communication and I am happy with the timing of my case. Pulled a rabbit out of the hat!

Mr. Bergman was able to take my medical bills that were the size of a quart of milk to the size of a pint. Unfortunately for me, the limits of the policy of the person that hit me were not enough to cover my expenses but thanks to Mr. Bergman, he was able to negotiate all my bills down and leave free and clear of debts plus some take away money for my pain and suffering. Now I am more educated on how to better protect myself through having a better insurance policy for any future accident I might have. I highly recommend Mr. Bergman for your needs when it comes to being a victim of an accident.

I almost died on the job and Scott saved my life!!

In 2021 I almost died at work in a 25’ ditch that caved in with heavy rocks and dirt that fractured several of my bones while I was working in it laying pipe. My injuries included left Acetabulum, bilateral inferior ramus and damages to my neck, back left ankle and left knee. I was un-conscious and it took a while to get me out of the ditch and to the hospital. Then I had to deal with my employer’s insurance company who wanted to deny my benefits for medical care and wages. Scott and his firm were incredible to turn the case around and get my medicals paid, get me the additional medical care that I needed, went to hearings for me and won. Then got me a checks over $370,000 for my WC case. If you have a serious case, Scott is someone I would recommend to take care of case of this seriousness.

A tough fight for justice for our deceased mother from a horrible car accident

One head on collision accident from a reckless driver changed our mother’s life which was immediately shortened due to her injuries. My mother was an independent women who was strong and vibrant and became severely weakened by this tragedy, to the point of her death a year later because she succumbed to her injuries. This has been one of the most difficult things I have ever had to deal with, and I found Scott through AVVO, and hired him because I felt that he was the right attorney to fight for my mother, and he was. I researched and interviewed several attorneys for a week before finding Scott and he came personally to the hospital to meet with my mother and I after her accident, and explained everything to us with clarity, confidence, and explained the possibilities of what can happen in a case like ours. The case went on for 4 years, with a large chunk of time in litigation, because the insurance company did not want to fairly settle and take ownership over their insured causing my mothers death. Scott fought hard and hired the right experts to review the records and agree that the injuries sustained from the accident caused my mothers wrongful death. We were able to settle for a very large amount of money and we, as a family, are pleased with the justice and some closure we feel from receiving a very large settlement check, without having to put us through the horror of being in a trial and reliving the nightmare of what happened to our mother. While this will never replace what we lost in our mother, this successful conclusion, through the help of Attorney Bergman, will allow us to heal and move one with our lives. We are thankful for having Attorney Bergman on our side and we would highly recommend him to anyone that reads this review.

Car accident

I was recommended to Mr. Bergman to represent me in my MVA accident. From the start they took care of all my questions and explained the process of how a claim goes as this was my first MVA. From wrongful death to justice

At one of the most painful times in my life, attorney Bergman was there to support and fight for the wrongful death of my son. He died in a work related accident and Mr. Bergman was there from the time my son was in the hospital, to the end of the lengthy litigation process with the local government to fold on the settlement we were seeking. This process has been difficult for me personally, a rollercoaster of emotions, but through it all, Mr. Bergman was there to speak to me, explain the legal process, and fight for my son who couldn’t fight for himself. The local government did not want to settle and offered $0 at first, but after taking them through the legal process, they decided it was in their best interest to settle for the wrongful death of my son. Mr. Bergman put together a wonderful legal team together to take on the government on behalf of my deceased son. I always felt I could trust Mr. Bergman and I know he always had my best interest at heart.

Very diligent

I hired Scott Bergman to help me with my workman's compensation case. By the time I brought him on, over a year had gone by since the incident. The best attorney!!!

Honestly, I don’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t met Scott. He was honest from the beginning. Explained how my case would go, step by step and for someone that has never needed an attorney before, he has been the best. His team (specially Karla) were super helpful throughout the whole process as well. If anything was needed or missing, she always kept me notified. I had a very complicated case where I had to get a couple of surgeries and Scott made sure I got the right care and fought for the full limits available for my case which was multiple 6 figures!! Comfort and soothing

First of all, I found Mr. Bergman on Avvo and for anybody reading his reviews, it is my turn to give you my truthful review of Mr. Bergman, his firm, and what they did for me. Thanks to Mr. Bergman for guiding me to get excellent medical care and referring me to the right surgeon for the job when I was about to possibly get another surgeon who could have damaged my hand further due to his opinion. The outcome of the surgery that I had was a grade A. As to my damages, Mr. Bergman was successful in obtaining the full bodily injury policy limits for my case. I know without Mr. Bergman, the insurance company would have not settled for the full bodily injury policy limits for my case. Mr. Bergman placed a red line with the insurance company that this case warrants handing over the entire policy limit without going to suit and was successful in obtaining that for me in addition to making sure all my medicals were covered. If you need an attorney, there is no one better than obtaining Mr. Bergman and his team to get you what you have the right to get from the insurance industry that will always offer you pennies on the dollar for your case. I am pleased and thankful to have Mr. Bergman on my side during my most vulnerable times. Comfort and soothing were how I felt with Mr. Bergman and his team.

Mr. Hall

Scott Bergman is genuinely a lawyer for the people. He tells you what he will do for your case And immediately starts executing his action plan, fighting the insurance company to get the best compensation you deserve. I called Mr. Bergman to represent me after my car and I got sandwiched between two cars on the interstate, in the fall of 2019. I was taken to the hospital immediately for; observation, medical care, and an MRI X-ray. I was there at the hospital until late into the night but was eventually cleared to go home with my wife. The day I got calls from my own insurance company agents asking questions like Did I have any alcohol to drink before I drove home from work that evening, Maybe my attention was occupied by a person riding inside the vehicle, was there a person inside the vehicle with me at that moment or maybe I was distracted by texting on my phone or listening to music on my phone. None of those questions fit the bill as to what happened that faithful day, and I was called by three insurance representatives with different variants of those same questions. Now Im pissed off, so after I calmed down and got a level head I called Scott’s office to represent my case because I was tired of the blatant disrespect I was receiving from an Insurance company my family and I have been a part of for over thirty years. After all the medical appointments and lastly surgery in my case, attorney Scott Bergman, Karla, and I put the depositions together, ready to take this case to full trial but ultimately the two insurance companies involved, decided to chicken out, and settle the case for the MAXIMUM amount of compensation allowable for a case like mine. Scott Bergman is an excellent attorney, who put everything out there during COVID-19 through numerous zoom calls, empty courtroom appearances, and finally arbitration. I wish I could give Scott and his team a 10 out of 10 but the ratings only go to 5 out of 5. Thanks again Scott, you truly represented me!

Thanx scott and Karla too

I have known scott for years. He was my sons, NFL agent. This was my first time using him as the accident lawyer he was thorough and help me get the maximum settlement. Karla was very helpful helping to guide me through all of the paperwork she needed from me gathering and making sure we had everything they were very realistic in their time line as far as when everything would be settled. Got me great value for my case

Mr. Bergman is an exceptional lawyer who represented me and my niece in our car accident case. I had never been in a motor vehicle accident and didn't know what to expect but thank God I found Mr. Bergman to guide me and represent me during the whole process. I never felt abandoned, he was always communicative with me and I followed all his instructions to the T. Him and Candida are a wonderful team who kept me updated with my case status. His fee is reasonable and I believe that with his representation I got a much better value for my case vs. another lawyer who is more focused on quantity of cases vs. doing the right things per individual client/case.
