I switched to Rhian after retaining a "high priced shark" who treated me like an imbecile. I was so fed up I called her on a Wednesday and left a message. Even though she was in trial, she called back that evening and then made time for a two hour consultation that Friday. By Monday she was up to spe...ed on my case and had the plan of attack ready for discussion. She laid out my options and her recommendations and really was able to provide the pros and cons of each scenario. Rhian listened to all my concerns and was completely responsive throughout the whole process. Together we formulated a strategy that got my long drawn out divorce closed quickly, and she pulled some fancy tricks out of her bag that caught my ex and his lawyer by surprise. I appreciated that she was willing to fight hard and had sound judgement on which battles to fight. She always called me right away and really kept me abreast of the process - with the other lawyer I never had a full picture of what was going on or what sequence of events needed to happen. Another bonus? Her voicemail message always lets you know if she is in trial - she totally manages expectations and I knew when she would be able to call back. She also worked around my crazy work schedule - reviewing documents and strategies on nights and weekends. I can't recommend her enough - she made a difficult and painful process actually feel empowering. I also found both her and her staff incredibly reasonable - they never charged me for quick questions and clarifications, and her bill was always lower than the amount I was expecting from my own tracking. If you want a lawyer who listens, who discusses strategies with you to figure out what works best in your given situation, and who respects you even though you are not a lawyer, this one is for you.

Rhian is an outstanding attorney. She is a very experienced family lawyer with a deep knowledge of the court system. She has guided me superbly throughout a very challenging divorce with children involved. She is very efficient and has always kept me informed of her progress negotiating with my forme...r wife's attorney . I would stronly recommend Rhian to both friends and family based on my excellent experience working with her.

Poor communication, slow to respond to third party requests, goes out of her way to cooperate with opposing counsel (no collaborative agreement signed), bills for everything under the sun. Kept me out of the loop, worked closely with opposing counsel (billed enormous amt of time for talking), draf...ted agreements with opposing counsel and third party and informed me 'after the fact' (crafted second agreement while attending a bar conference!) Weak knowledge of financial aspects and was bowled over by my husband's 'disclosure' at first and only meeting, but not with his decade of deception. I do not recommend.
